In 2003, there was a joke that went
You know the world done gone crazy when:
the best rapper is white,
the best golfer is black,
the tallest man in the NBA is Chinese,
the Swiss (land-locked nation) win America’s Cup (yachting race),
the French accuse the Americans of being too arrogant,
and the Germans don’t want to go to war.
The trouble is that three years later, there are a ton of things in the news that move from the random “dog bites man” oddity story to where the news, sum total, just boggles one’s mind.
A five year old’s passport photo was rejected since her bare shoulders could offend muslims if she traveled to a muslim country.
Hezbo has a rally in Toronto, and police who are on site and who are told that Hezbo is an official terrorist organization, so the people waving the terrorist flag should be arrested, respond that the order to arrest has to be made by a higher command.
