I wrote about the the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its mission to get a web site they claim is hate filled shut down. At the time I wrote that they had been successful in shutting down the site and now they are gloating about that. You see, CAIR derides anything they believe to be anti-Muslim and while they claim to support good relations they often fail to oppose any act that a Muslim commits against Americans. They are also silent when Muslims kill or threaten to kill anyone who is not a follower of Islam.

There is a report out that 14 ex-Muslims in Iran have been arrested. These former followers of Islam converted to Christianity and were trying to hold a peaceful Christmas celebration when they were arrested. The penalty for converting from Islam, under Sharia law, is death. This is the nature of the tolerant, religion of peace.

Where is a statement from CAIR? I understand that these people are not Americans but neither were the people who flew airplanes into our buildings and CAIR has spoken about that. In fact, the representatives from this organization said that Catholic Priests were a greater terrorism threat than the folks who flew planes into buildings. These folks at CAIR are also concerned that such acts give Islam a bad name, ya think. CAIR is the first to cry when a website calls for the death of Muslim children and they cry when a person shoots a Koran because these acts are hate crimes, not free speech. However, let a Muslim do bad things and any action is a denial of rights. The six Imams on the plane are a perfect example. They were acting like terrorists and they were singled out. CAIR defends them and acts like the airlines are bigots. A word to the wise, these acts are designed to soften us so if you are on an airplane and anyone, Muslim or otherwise, acts strangely then report it. If you are in flight, do whatever you have to to subdue any would be threat and if that means beating them to death then have at it.

Can you imagine what kind of uproar there would have been if 14 British citizens had been arrested for converting to Islam? Imagine how much crying CAIR would do and imagine how much more elevated it would be if those folks were threatened with death for converting. Perhaps we should make it illegal here for anyone to convert to Islam and the penalty for that would be death. You can bet you would hear from CAIR then.
