This is the Enemy, or Is It?

Who is in this picture? Come on, identify the individual in this picture. Can’t? Well neither can our military, or the British military. Is this a man or a woman? An innocent civilian or a terrorist with a bomb? There is no way to know, and being the civilized humans that Americans and Brits are, we make every effort not to hurt an innocent.
This is what the enemy does: Taliban chiefs have ordered 15 women suicide bombers to dress as beggars or teachers and hide devices under burkas, and murder British troops in Afghanistan, according to a secret intelligence report. (source)
A military source added: “We’re pretty good at detecting male suicide bombers. But women will be almost unstoppable. Because of their burkas, the first time you’ll know she’s a bomber is when she explodes.”
I don’t think this is a problem in Turkey:
In 1925, Kemal Atatürk pushed reform laws through Turkey’s Grand National Assembly outlawing the veil and the fez. European-style dress was encouraged in their place.
Although you may see a few women in black çarsaf in Turkey, most observant Muslim women wear tesettür: a light draping overcoat and colorful headscarf. No veil.
Many Turkish women who consider themselves good Muslims do not follow any traditional concept of modest dress, but rather dress tastefully in European fashions, perhaps believing that modesty is as modesty does.(source, hat tip Night Rider)
Here’s more bad news: Terrorists attacking British bases in Basra are using aerial footage displayed by the Google Earth internet tool to pinpoint their attacks, say Army intelligence sources.
