Two Morons, a Nice Girl a Co-Host and a Table

Now that Rosie O’Dumbbell has been forced out of ‘The View’ 3 weeks early she is ruining my proposed new name for the show. But don’t despair, there is hope, Joy Behar proved that she is a suitable candidate to take over Rosie’s throne of idiocy with her moronic rant that precipitated the final Rosie-Elizabeth blow up.

I was watching Al Gore on, on “Larry King” last night and, you know, he has a new book out, Al Gore, where he basically really says that Bush was the worst president that we’ve ever had in the history of the country…Does anyone have any idea why we can’t get rid of this guy who stole the election in 2000, killed the surplus with tax cuts…Wanting to privatize social security. Let me get through the list. He withdrew us from the Kyoto Treaty, John Ashcroft. Sat in the classroom after learning about 9/11…He lied to us to get us into the war. He awarded a no-bid contract to Halliburton, Abu Ghraib. He promoted his friend Michael Brown to take care of Katrina. Heck of a job, Brownie. Remember that? He doesn’t listen to the Iraq Study Group. He choked on a pretzel…He waited a week to visit New Orleans and then only to watch some jazz. He stood by Alberto Gonzales…and he stood by Rumsfeld, who some people think is a war criminal. He can’t pronounce the word “nuclear.” These are just some of the reasons…this guy needs to be thrown out of office. (h/t The Anchoress)

Video of Behar and O’Donnell falling off the deep end.

Rosie is upset that Elizabeth Hasselbeck won’t defend Rosie’s insinuation that U.S. troops are terrorists that are responsible for killing 655,00 civilians in Iraq. This number was repeated about 2 weeks ago in the LA Times and is intended to add credibility to estimates that have been completely discredited since they came out last October. Even liberal think tanks such as the Brookings Institute are using the Iraq Body Count estimates of 70,471, a number that is almost 10 times smaller than the numbers Rosie is using.

Liars like Rosie get away with such exaggerated claims because it’s hard to defend any of these numbers. But they are defensible when you consider that Iran, Syria and al-Qaeda are responsible for the civilian deaths; thus Rosie’s claims are fallacious on multiple levels. Let’s not forget that Saddam Hussein is estimated to have killed between 2 and 3 million people before U.S. troops took him out.

Real facts like the mass graves and execution style killings of blindfolded men, women and children at the hands of Saddam Hussein elude idiots like Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar. (See any of these Webloggin articles for more on the facts that the screechers ignore: Iraqi Mass Grave, Average Age 11, 123 Women and Children Shot in the Back of the Head, Picture of the Day - Iraqi Mass Graves, Women and Children, LA Times – Iraq - Victims in Mass Graves Hid Clues in Clothing, Another Blow to the “Life Was Better under Saddam” Meme)

Rosie actually tips her hand on her blog and may explain why she never really defended her earlier comments. It sounds to me like she is definitely calling our troops terrorists.

Desmond writes:

i totally agree with your assesment of the troops in Iraq. terrorism is using voilence to acheive a political end…is war not voilent? are we not using it to acheive a political end?

desmond - yes

Update - side note - The statements above exemplify why this segment of the American left is so dangerous. Bad spelling aside, the attempts of Desmond and Rosie to draw a moral equivalence between U.S. troops and terrorists is typical. Furthermore, these ass wipes use the most simplistic and asinine definitions to make a point. Terrorism is not necessarily a tool of politics, it preys on the innocent indiscriminately and is meant to cower people into submission. It can be used to achieve a religious goal or just for the sake of terrorizing out of hate. Many terrorists are indoctrinated and bred to think and act with acts of terror as the goal. Furthermore, not all political ends are equivalent. The failure to recognize the differences between democracy and brutal, murderous, oppressive dictatorships is the first sign of serious mental lapses. If these dumb shits were left to protect the country we’d all be dhimmi slaves by now, or worse, dead.

As for Behar’s rants we all know them to be false. But don’t let me tell you. You’d be much better off reading the excellent post by The Anchoress that completely decimates all of the “facts” that Behar claims to be true.

Now that Rosie is gone we’ll have to wait for her replacement before we can come up with a new name for the show. Until then we can stick with my suggestion, Two Morons, a Nice Girl a Co-Host and a Table.
