The Smear Continues - Jack Higgins at the Chicago Sun Times

Jack Higgins continues the recent trend of Pulitzer Prize winning/Bush Bashing journalists with his latest Cartoon on Haditha that appeared in today’s Chicago Sun Times.

I really don’t know what to say here except that the mainstream media is undeniably unhinged. The effort to slander the whole military based on the events at Haditha is a national disgrace.

The end result of the America Bashing by the mainstream malcontents in the U.S. media will undoubtedly result in further death and destruction for countless innocents; including Americans. These idiots are now on par with Ward Churchill and countless others whose blame America first attitudes simply serve to foster anti-American sentiment at home and abroad.

This effort did not begin and unfortunately will not end with Haditha. It has been ongoing ever since the democrats were kicked out of office, if not longer. The incessant America bashing has been a boon to terrorists who are constantly planning to kill and maim as many Americans as they can; including women and children.

I sincerely hope that every one of these people has a mirror so they know who to blame for the next attack on this soil.

Garbage like this illustrates why Republicans leaders aren’t listening to their base. There is no way that I or anybody else on the right would vote for any liberal that represents the likes of Jack Higgins into office.

Update: It is important to note that my anger in this whole matter goes well beyond the media. The events at Haditha will undeniably hurt our efforts at combating terrorism. I am simply not prepared to jump on the bandwagon; especially considering that the case has not been heard. War is hell and we can’t possibly know what went on there based on second hand media reports.

My prayers are with the troops who are every bit as sickened as anyone else surrounding these crimes against humanity.
