What has happened to the left in this country?

Sgt. Leonid Milkin of the Army National Guard has had his service cut short because some sick drug addict allegedly moved into his neighborhood and brutally murdered his wife, sister in law and two sons aged 5 and 3.

A memorial fund has been set by the family at US Bank under the name “Kirkland House Fire Victims.” Also, the Washington National Guard set up a financial assistance fund in Leonid Milkin’s name at the American Lake Credit Union in Camp Murray. The account number is 13743:

It is hard to imagine anything more horrible for Sgt. Milkin or his family. This makes the response by some on the left even more appalling.

Maybe he signed up for the wrong profession because who in their right mind would want to be a army man? He should have studied harder in school and found a real job instead of joining the army. Lmao , be all u can be? Don’t patronize me ! People who join the army either have no education or come from small towns.. He should blame himself for his family dying due to his lack of education.

Too bad the paid assasin wasn’t home also… Got what he deserved for serving an illegal government in an illegal war.

MOre Deaths indirectly caused by Geroge W. BUSH!!!! If he didnt lie to start a war…..and the husband was at home, the people would all be alive. The was is for Halleburton, Exxon MObile, and all the other members of the Industrial military complex, who ar to benefit by this war. THANKS BUSH, hope you can sleep nights… But people without a conscious dont have trouble sleeping…I guess.

These are just a couple of messages out of many similar ones to be found on the message board.

This is the modern day equivalent of the lefts precursor anti-war roots who spit and threw feces at the “baby killers” as they returned home from duty in Vietnam.

Am I painting with a broad brush? Yes and no.

Do I believe that these idiots represent the majority of people on the left? No.

However the discourse here is typical of the lunatic left that has taken firm hold of the Democrat party. The language is the same as that typically found on “netroot” sites such as The Daily Kos.

The reason I point out Daily Kos is because the site is frequently used by Democrats in Congress who want to align themselves with this base. Guilt by association applies.

It is not too hard to imagine the reaction if those on the left found Trent Lott posting on a site that was associated with the Ku Klux Klan; even remotely.

Yet John Kerry, John Conyers, Harry Reid and Russ Feingold have made regular appearances and have even had diaries at the site that regularly spews hate against conservatives, Christians and any other group not aligned with the left’s counter culture message. Not just your everyday kind of venom mind you. I’m talking Bush is a Nazi, Pope Ratzinger is a Nazi, we’re all Nazi’s kind of message.

If the left wanted to disassociate themselves with this type of message then they would remove the hate filled posts. I’m talking articles mind you and not comments. But they won’t do that because it would either pass judgment or be uncomfortable to look themselves in the face.

In any case it is sick and the whole country needs to know who the left is and what they truly represent.
