The Internet is Dangerous

Some elected leaders must hate the internet. Not all mind you, but a certain majority. You know the ones, those who act like it is their birthright to be in Congress, those who are afraid of divergent ideas. This leads me to believe that the internet is a dangerous place in many of their minds.

For me it is a refuge, a place to put my ideas and open them up for debate. It allows me to expose what I believe to be what should be considered criminal actions by some elected officials. Thus the internet is dangerous to them.

For instance the way politicians are mismanaging tax dollars should be criminal. Social Security is the biggest example but it is just one case. This shouldn’t be the government’s money to spend. It should be invested every bit as much as anything else. Minimally it should sit in some account and accumulate interest which is THEN RETURNED TO THE PEOPLE. How did these jerks get their grubby hands on this money?

Likewise and even more alarming is Hilary Clinton’s promise of a $5,000 baby bond to every new child. What a dick. Neither she nor anyone else in the government should be using the U.S. tax base as a personal piggy bank to buy votes. Forget the fact that this would be disastrous from a financial perspective. Where is this money going to come from? Why in the world would anybody vote for someone who thinks like Hilary Clinton?

The bureaucracy surrounding everything we do is overwhelming and amounts to a large intrusion by the government into our lives. To add insult to injury these pathetic pigs have put together a hodgepodge of rules to make sure they tax as much as possible while making it impossible to explain the process in simple terms. For example, I was doing my travel expenses per the government mandated daily allowances on per diems for hotels, meals and “incidentals”. When I went to the website to figure out what the daily allowance was the first thought that entered my mind was “what asshole came up with this plan?” Essentially you must find your daily allowance bracket based on the town you are staying in as long as there is a listing for that town. In the case where there isn’t a listing for the town you must defer to the bracket for the county unless your county isn’t listed whereas you must go by a basic rate (generally lowest). Easy enough right? Well, not so much. If your are traveling on the first day where you will spend only a partial day at the client you are only allowed to claim 75% of the per diem for your assigned bracket, same for the last day. This is perhaps one of the easier things to figure out. As bad as that is we must minimally triple the work because of the fact that someone on the other side must sift through all this to make sure that nobody is cheating the system or violating any rules.

Hillary Clinton is now claiming that trade rules with other countries should be rejudged. Thankfully I can use the internet to call her on this claim. Trade rules didn’t even figure in when her husband sold this country out to NAFTA. The big fallacy is that NAFTA hurts the blue collar worker. Think again; the blue collar worker is not alone in that boat. NAFTA is being used to attack the middle class professional every bit as much as it is being used to depress the wages of low skilled workers. India and China are setting up shop right off the shore of the United States so they can use NAFTA to depress the wages of software developers while claiming the benefit of being in the same time zone as most companies in North America. So NAFTA is being used by Mexico, India and China to further depress wages of the American middle class.

Politicians are destroying this country. Borders language and culture have gone out the window. I worry for the next generation of Americans that are getting squeezed by the elitists who are fattening their pockets on our dime. It costs so much money to run for office that most of the country is not represented by people in their social class. This was never the intent. Our only tool is the internet if we are to make a difference and run these crooks and liars out of office. I just hope it didn’t get here too late.
