First off, allow me to apologize for my earlier mocking of the DNC and their efforts to make Americans feel secure. I’m glad to hear that they their new plan to make America safe is to capture Osama bin Laden. Oh, and stop Al Qaida and other terrorist groups “like” them (they didn’t mention who those others were because talking tough on Hezbollah and Hamas might upset the left-wing of the party).
I would have articulated my new found respect for the Demcorats tough *new* stance on national security earlier but I was distracted by the Senate Democrats who were trying to make the case today on censuring President Bush for making America safer. I guess if Bush was tapping phone calls made to the United States by Dubai Port World, they would be commending him instead.
