The Democrats Always Have a Victim In Their Pockets

Last night at the Democratic National Convention Hillary Clinton told another one of her canned anecdotes about down and out Americans that have an uncanny propensity to show up on the doorstep of Democrats at key speaking engagements.
I will always remember the single mom who had adopted two kids with autism, didn’t have health insurance and discovered she had cancer. But she greeted me with her bald head painted with my name on it and asked me to fight for health care.
I will always remember the young man in a Marine Corps t-shirt who waited months for medical care and said to me: “Take care of my buddies; a lot of them are still over there….and then will you please help take care of me?”
I will always remember the boy who told me his mom worked for the minimum wage and that her employer had cut her hours. He said he just didn’t know what his family was going to do.
I will always be grateful to everyone from all fifty states, Puerto Rico and the territories, who joined our campaign on behalf of all those people left out and left behind by the Bush administration.
To my supporters, my champions — my sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits – from the bottom of my heart: Thank you.
Gag.
These canned stories certainly tug at the heartstrings. But it got me to thinking. Why is it that Democrats only remember the supposedly down and out yet they conveniently vilify those throngs of American success stories; the people that have overcome adversity without the help of the government and in many cases despite government intervention that penalizes success?
Sorry bud, you are no longer useful except as a new tax vehicle.
Certain questions pop up about the victims that Hillary Clinton is touting as her base of support. For instance, did that single mom that is now stricken with cancer adopt 2 kids with autism without carrying insurance at the time of adoption? That is probably a relevant question. Would the system allow such a travesty to occur?
Also, how was Hillary Clinton planning on helping the soldiers overseas while her and the rest of the Democrats undermined the mission from day 1? Wouldn’t it be more likely that the Marine would have been less likely to have been injured in the first place had Democrats supported the troops at the time when they needed it most. Instead of looking to villify their actions, prosecute them for the conduct of war and foster worldwide hate that most certainly placed them in more danger wouldn’t it be likely that the war effort would have been much better off with Democratic support?
And what about the mom on minimum wage that had her hours cut? Isn’t it possible that her hours were cut because the Democrats raised minimum wage, taxed the hell out of the job provider and yes, undercut her wages by supporting illegal immigrants?
The Democrats always seem to have a victim in their pockets but they rarely look in the mirror to see who is really to blame.
