Stupid Democrat Quote of the Day

Now that criminal Democrat donor and felonious fundraiser Norman Hsu has been caught after running from authorities a second time some Democrats are finally having second thoughts about keeping the money he raised for them; albeit reluctantly.
That reluctance and sheer hypocrisy has lead Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell to spew one of the most idiotic excuses for originally not returning $40,0000 in campaign contributions made to him by Hsu:
“Though Norman is my friend, and remains so, his failure to appear casts a new light on his assertions regarding the original case,” Rendell said in a statement before Hsu’s arrest Thursday. “As a result, I will follow other elected officials and donate the money he contributed to me to charity.”
New Light? You think? Thanks Ed, we know that it is hard to part with money raised by Chinese fugitives on the lam; you wouldn’t want to set a precedent. Your change of heart is nether contrite, nor defensible. In fact if I didn’t already have a Quote of the Day category I would make a new one under “Shut the Hell Up”. Perhaps a new group of friends is in order.
It hasn’t escaped notice that Rendell decided to make this decision in the same reluctant manner as other like minded Democrats such as U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, both of whom waited until yesterday to have a change of heart..

I’m sure he is to good of friend to insult that way. I am interested in this new one on her. A suite has been filed by one of her good friends for a fund rasier she backed out on.
