The baby Jesus, Mary, and Joseph have been omitted from a manger display in St. Albans, West Virginia because of concerns surrounding the separation of church and state according to the park’s superintendent. The mayor says it is merely a technical problem with the difficulties in lighting a baby manager. One of these two people is lying – you be the judge.

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. – Christ is missing from Christmas in this small town. The community’s holiday display has a manger with shepherds, a guiding star, camels and a palm tree, but no baby Jesus, Mary or Joseph.

The parks superintendent said Jesus was left out because of concerns about the separation of church and state. But Mayor Dick Callaway said it was done for purely technical reasons: “It’s not easy to put a light-up representation of a baby in a small manger scene, you know.”

Can you spot the liar? I can.

There is nothing worse than a spineless politician who will look you in the eye and lie to your face as if your are too stupid to understand the meaning of the words coming out of his or her mouth. Perhaps Dick Callaway is right; after all he was elected into office despite having the propensity to be so dishonest.

Christians and non-Christians alike have started to take these things in stride but I am really starting to get bent over it. The assault on Christians keeps getting worse every year.

The establishment clause in the first amendment was not intended to be used as a tool against religion - it was meant to preserve and protect the free exercise of religion. The ACLU and liberals who are threatened by your right to openly practice your faith have chiseled away at the freedoms of the religious faithful by looking past the free exercise clause.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”.

This gives you the freedom to sing the praises of your God out in the village square if you want to. The fact that a city recognizes that a majority of Americans are Christians should not be construed as endorsement.

The hypocrisy is blatant. I may get on a plane and be subjected to a group of Muslim’s who get up en masse and pray to Allah before we take off, despite the fact that this is what they do before offing themselves. This is deemed legal. If I question it I am racist. Yet somehow a depiction of the baby Jesus lying in a manger in a display that anyone can walk past and ignore is a threat to a person’s right not to be Christian. Give me a break.

This is complete insanity.

People better start thinking long and hard about what they are allowing to happen to our country – the finest country in the world. People often risk life and limb to come to America. People die trying to get here because of who we are and what we stand for. Unfortunately certain people are trying to change that and they are attacking from within. This is a great nation and we need to keep it that way.

My mother once told me not to worry because this was the “land of milk and honey.” She would turn in her graving knowing that the American left is turning our milk sour and our honey to vinegar. I for one do not want to see this happen.

I feel helpless watching every thing turn to crap because idiots and half wits run the show. Judicial activists are making law, lawyers and open border groups have teamed up to give rights to illegal immigrants who circumvent our laws, gun grabbers are chipping away at our second amendment rights and city governments are trying to take the baby Jesus away from a manger at Christmas. The list goes on and it is making me sick.

Here is an idea for all the lefties in this country – move to a socialist country if you love socialism, move to some EU nation where guns are not allowed if you are a gun grabber. The door is open. Don’t let it kick you in the ass on the way out. There are better countries waiting for your entry if you are the type to bash America and attack the rights of the majority of its people who just happen to be Christian. Go live any place but here. We certainly don’t need you.

While we watch the mass exodus of the Democrat Party base I would like to see Christ put back into Christmas. I would like to see people stand up for what is right. I would like to see the doctrine of the separation between church and state used to defend people’s right to practice their religion freely rather than a tool to suppress it. If you are in America you are living in the best place on earth. We are very fortunate people, why change that? Stop allowing the assault on our country and all that it stands for before it is too late.
