We have heard the mindless prattle about the war on terror by intellectuals such as Michael Moore, John Murtha, and Howard Dean and are aware of their positions. How would we feel if someone invaded us? It looks like we are occupiers trying to force our way of life on them. We should listen to them and they will respond favorably. Islam is a religion of peace and only radicals are out there causing trouble.

These things show America as a country unwilling to fight for its survival. I have often heard from the left how we should have learned from Vietnam. That was a quagmire and we are doing the same thing. They are correct in that we should have learned from Vietnam but they are wrong on which lesson. Vietnam was lost because of the divided nation back home. People like John Kerry protesting and calling our soldiers criminals emboldened an enemy who knew that if he waited long enough we would effect our own defeat. The same thing can happen in Iraq because we have people in this country, one of whom happens to be John Kerry, who are undermining the effort and allowing our enemies to wait us out. They are following the Vietnam plan by letting us effect our own defeat.

Islam is a violent religion. All this crap about religion of peace is someone’s pipe dream to excuse behavior that has only one goal, conversion of the world to Islam. We continue to hear all these references to Crusades and imposition of our beliefs on the enemy but in fact they are the ones hell bent on converting the world to their twisted religious views. The Islamic world has launched its own Crusade and they are determined to convert people or have them die by the sword. Of course, this is the very thing the Pope quoted that caused such an uproar in the Islamofascist community. We need to take these people at their word and realize that appeasement does not work. Spain pulled out of Iraq and were rewarded with a terror attack at their train station. Al-Qaida is threatening to launch attacks here in the US and they have no regard for the lives of innocent people.
