Something Smells and It Isn’t the Rats….Or Is It?

Yesterday when Fox News broke the story about the Iraqi truck driver who was entering the Miami port and was caught with the two undisclosed Middle Eastern passengers I knew that a search of the vehicle would produce nothing. It seems I am not the only one who smells a rat, or is calling this a “dry run”. Of course, I am not referring to the MSM, I am referring to the blogosphere. They seem to be the only ones who share my train of thought.
It came as no surprise when I watched the news last night and they were reporting this as a “misunderstanding” or possibly a “language barrier” problem. Misunderstanding? Language barrier problem? I don’t think so. Sounds more like an attempt to see how secure our ports are going in from the land side.
Furthermore, if the driver has that hard of a time understanding the English language why is he driving truck? What about street signs, doesn’t his “language barrier” problem hinder his reading and understanding of street signs? If his lack of understanding of the English language is so limited, how did he study and pass the test to obtain a commercial drivers license in the first place? Seriously, if he could not answer the question as to whether there were other passengers in his big rig, how could he pass the test? Am I supposed to believe that his language skills are good for a test but not for a simple question?
Compound this event with Democrats calling for the decrease of troops in Iraq and we truly do have a recipe for disaster. We do not need to decrease troops, we need to increase them. We also need to allow the military to do what they have been trained to do, which is fight. Fight the enemy hard, leave men behind in the areas that have been defeated to secure peace, and move along and do it again.
It amazes me how many people really don’t get it. Muslim extremists are strategically placing themselves all over the map for one purpose, to obtain a world without infidels. We need stability in the Middle East in order to secure our peace and freedom here. It is as simple as that.
The faster the American people get on board with this, the better off we all will be. We must not be blinded by these so called “language barrier” problems. The American people need to understand that our enemy is here and every day they whittle away our society by claiming Islamophobia.
Remember the Imam incident? The six Imam’s who were removed from the plane do to suspicious behavior. The airline did exactly would should have been done; get them off of the plane. What happened? CAIR got involved and claimed Isamophobia. Nihad Awad, the council’s executive director claimed:
We are concerned that crew members, passengers and security personnel may have succumbed to fear and prejudice based on stereotyping of Muslims and Islam.
I say, sorry the shoe fits. Too bad. CAIR has known links to terrorist organizations, such as Hamas, yet we are going to allow them to dictate who we kick off a flight, out of our country or possibly out of our ports. It is ludicrous and stupid. Amazingly, Barbara Boxer rescinded CAIR’s “certificate of accomplishment”. Although, true to Democrat form the prior month she “had sent CAIR a letter in connection with its 10th anniversary fundraising dinner endorsing the group as a “constant support system for the American Muslim community” and praising it for its work on civil liberties.” I’ll give credit where credit is due, but not without pointing out that there is still a level of pandering going on.
Bottom line is this, we need to stay on our toes. I am sure that CAIR will be out to protest the detainment of the Iraqi driver and his undisclosed passengers. We need to stay vigilant no matter what and ignore whatever Islamophobe accusations might be hurled.
