Updated, retitled & bumped: SNL returned an edited version of the skit to their site. In doing so they also edited out (but did not mention) any references to Barney Frank for having complicity in the financial crisis.

Removed:

“And thank you Congressman Frank as well as many Republicans for helping block Congressional oversight of our corrupt activities.”

Largely ignored in this crisis is the key role played by Herbert and Marion Sandler, founders of Golden West Financial (GDW), one of the largest savings and loans in the nation. Wachovia purchased GDW for $24 billion dollars in 2006. This was one of the worst merger and acquisition deals of all time for the buyer, and remarkably excellent timing on the part of the seller. In essence, Wachovia bought a financial time bomb ticking away, one that exploded this year, bringing down yet another former financial titan and further wrecking Wall Street.

This is what I mean, the difference between the fabricated smears concerning Sarah Palin and censorship and that of Democrats and their supporters; censorship that is very real. I will cut up the clips that were removed and post them when I get time.

Aren’t you glad that rich Democrats get to decide what you can think, say and do on a daily basis? Mark this one down as another attempt by the media to cover for Democrats and their rich friends.

Still voting Democrat? Fine, reap what you sow.

It appears that the Saturday night Live skit that poked fun at Democrats for their part in the financial meltdown has been pulled. No reason is forthcoming which of course leads people to believe that the reason is political in nature. May not be true but that is how it appears so I figured why not have a little fun with it:

If true it puts the emphasis on just how scared liberals are to face the truth about their own representative party. After all these weeks of false stories about Palin book bannings it would be delicious to see NBC censor their own joke writers at Saturday Night Live.
