Hollywood Stars Denounce Terrorism in LA Times

No, the terrorism isn’t actually in the LA Times (although I am often terrorized by some of their articles). However, the stars denunciation of terror does appear in today’s paper in a full page ad.
Had to go all the way to the Australian Herald Sun to get the story, Kidman condemns Hamas, Hezbollah: (h/t Captains Quarters)
Nicole Kidman has made a public stand against terrorism. The actress, joined by 84 other high-profile Hollywood stars, directors, studio bosses and media moguls, has taken out a powerfully-worded full page advertisement in today’s Los Angeles Times newspaper.
It specifically targets “terrorist organisations” such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine.
All in all it is a very simple statement but we have to give credit where credit is due. Hollywood and those in the MSM have been less than supportive of the “War on Terror” so this is a sign of hope from some pretty big hitters.
Apparently Mel Gibson was unavailable to join in the support of Israel. He is still busy with the spanking that Dennis Leary and Lenny Clark gave him on NESN sports channel yesterday!
Hollywood Stars Speak Out Against Terror
Not surprisingly the list contains some of my favorite actors. It is nice to see people like Bruce Willis, Patricia Heaton, Nicole Kidman, Danny DeVito, Sylvester Stallone, Gary Sinise and James Woods come together with a group of stars and producers who are not afraid to support Israel and denounce terror. This has been a long time coming.
