Sad State of the Nation As Rampant Voter Fraud And Intimidation Being Reported

I blame Democrats. Sorry, they have been setting this up for quite some time as they put out the notion that they were being disenfranchised even before the elections began.

Worse is the idea that people are too stupid to vote despite all of the methods provided. I used the electronic voting machine and nothing could have been easier. Touch here, next, review, print. Anybody who can’t figure this process out shouldn’t be voting in the first place. I mean really, if you are too damn dumb to punch through a chad or touch a button on a computer monitor then what the hell are you doing voting in the first place?

But the idiocy goes well beyond ignorance of how to vote. There is down and out fraud being committed.

There is an update on the Philly intimidation as video has surfaced at Wizbang that purports to document Carlos Mantos preventing Republican poll watchers access to monitor the vote. Mantos is the son-in-law of the Philadelphia City Commissioner in 19th Ward.

Fox news is reporting rampant irregularities mostly amounting to fraud being committed by Democrats against Republicans.

WASHINGTON — Voting machine malfunctions, long lines at precinct stations and charges of voter intimidation, vandalism and impertinent poll workers marred Election Day 2006 as Americans streamed to the polls to decide which party will control Congress.

Senior Justice Department officials confirmed to FOX News that some reports have come in about what might be perceived as attempted voter intimidation or suppression in Virginia. The reports are sporadic at best, but officials said all will be investigated.

One law enforcement source said the FBI is in contact with elections officials in Richmond, who forwarded “three” instances of something that looked “irregular” to them. Of those three, the official said, two look to have been provided to Virginia election officials by secondary sources, and the accounts of what happened were not particularly descriptive.

One such instance appeared to consist of a phone call — a voter answered the phone prior to leaving for the local polling place and the caller asked who the voter was planning to support, then gave the address of a supposed polling station. The address was not correct, leading some in Richmond to think the voter was purposely misdirected.

Other reports are as follows; note that most of these reports are Democrat attacks on Republicans.

  • In New Jersey, Republican Tom Kean Jr.’s campaign office was reportedly vandalized. A chain and padlock was placed on the front door and keys were broken off in the locks at the side entrances.
“It appears the Democrats have already resorted to Election Day dirty tricks,” said Kean campaign manager Evan Kozlow, who said the “desperate ploys” will not prevent the campaign “from informing voters that Bob Menendez is under federal criminal investigation and is unfit to serve in the United States Senate.”
  • Graffiti that included a Communist-style hammer and sickle along with the name of Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Pa., was spray-painted on an overpass and a department store outside Springfield. Weldon’s campaign accused backers of Democratic challenger Joe Sestak.
  • In New Jersey, voters in at least seven jurisdictions attempting to vote for Republican Kean and found their machines “locked” for Menendez, according to GOP Committee attorney Mark Sheridan, who called it a “disturbing and developing trend” emerging at the polls.

Sheridan said Republicans are trying to figure out if this is a result of computer error or malfeasance on the part of poll workers. He said it would be too much of a coincidence for anything other than “fraud.”

  • In Michigan, the Web site for Republican Senate candidate Mike Bouchard was shut down after being hacked. The campaign said the site has been inundated by a distributed denial of service attack that overwhelmed the server. Federal authorities were being contacted. - Note - The FBI is investigating
  • Other reports are coming in from Milwaukee (via Malkin)

The state Elections Board (Dem controlled and already accused of rigging claims against the GOP candidate for guv) has just ordered the Milwaukee Election Commission to remove signs that tell felons on parole they can’t legally vote or they will be prosecuted. They admit it’s an accurate statement of the law. They don’t want to “intimidate” voters.

They are doing this even though prosecutors want the signs up otherwise it will be hard to prove their case.

This last one is particularly sneaky. The felons can’t claim they didn’t know they couldn’t vote if the signs are removed. Thus the fraud will be allowed to occur and the state will clean it up later. (yeah right)

So here we are in another election where the Democrats will cry foul while committing the crimes themselves. Sounds about right. Losers and cheats till the end.
