Roy Scheider Dies At Age 75

Actor Roy Scheider, best known for playing the police chief in the movie Jaws, has died at age 75.
Scheider was also in The French Connection and All That Jazz; but is was Jaws that really put him over the top. Jaws is considered one of the first blockbusters and it was the first movie to bring in a whopping 100 million dollars at the box office.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Scheider’s loved ones and he will be missed.
