This memorial was originally published in September of 2006. It is our wish that the world never forgets those who were senselessly murdered on 9-11.
Update:The DC Roe Site appears to be down at the moment. I put together a complete list of the 2,996 Memorial Bloggers Here.
Today marks the 5th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. Although the event happened a half decade ago it seems like it happened yesterday.
Many people lost their lives on that fateful morning and many more were left to pick up the pieces of lives that were shattered by the hateful acts of terrorism that has made its way to our shores. A terrible evil has brushed our land.
Five years later we remember those victims and the lives they left behind. Their fate will always be a reminder that life is a short journey that often ends before we are ready.
Today we celebrate the lives of the victims and the life they passed on to future generations. While the victims may be gone their legacy lives on in children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, husbands, wives and friends. People will gather together and tell fond memories and childhood stories that are unique to each soul. Memorial funds have been created, parks have been dedicated and scholarships are awarded in their names. This is the legacy of those who have been taken from us.
Through God’s strength and the American spirit we will continue on in their honor. They will always have a place in America’s heart. We will never forget.
Three Webloggin Members participated in a national tribute to remember the lives of the 2,996 victims of 9/11. The memorial is a consolidated effort by volunteer bloggers to pay tribute to the lives they led and the legacy they have left behind. Please stop by the 2,996 tribute site and read the tributes to those people that America misses so dearly.

9-11, five years later…
It’s now the fifth year since September 11, 2001, when the al Qaeda murdered almost 3000 people in the World Trade Center. This is my entry for the memorial service….
