Random Thought of the Day – Feel Good Legislation on Immigration

Let us imagine how it may go down when applying for guest worker status based on how long an illegal immigrant has been here in the country.
USCIS Officer (INS) – “So you say you’ve been here 10 years, can I please have your documentation?”
Illegal Immigrant – “Well no, I’m undocumented.”
USCIS Officer – “OK, take this application to kinkos, fill in the dates, photocopy it and come back when your documents are in order.”
(editor’s note - this hypothetical discussion has been translated for our legal english speaking audience)
This explains why we pay our elected officials so well. The ability to shove a crap sandwich down the throats of bona fide U.S. citizens has become an art form; the added stress alone warrants extra pay for less work!
guest worker, illegal immigrant, elected officials, crap sandwich, U.S. citizens
