Polling Data Shows Barack Obama’s Race Baiting Tactics to Be Based on a Lie, Blacks Voting on Race Alone, Whites Split

According to the latest USA today Gallup Poll blacks support Barack Obama unanimously while whites are nearly split.

Whites support McCain by 6 points while blacks almost unanimously back Obama, who is the first African-American to claim a major party’s presidential nomination. Of 130 blacks surveyed, 129 support the Illinois senator.

Yesterday we reported that Barack Obama was using a race baiting scare tactic to fan the flames of racial unrest in quest of votes. With reference to Republicans Barack Obama said the following at a Florida fundraiser:

“They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black?”

Why shouldn’t voters be afraid of someone that can lie so easily to the American public? Let’s look at the facts and try and come up with an answer.

On Barack Obama’s Funny Middle Name

I have been turned off by those that use Hussein as an identifier for Barack Obama. I get it, he has a Muslim heritage, we are at war with radical Islam and Barack Obama has gone to great lengths to ride the fine line of obscuring these facts. But using his middle name to point that fact out is a distraction to the people that we are trying to win over the most. I even roll my eyes when I see it.

But if Barack Obama is going to make an issue of his middle name then we should be discussing it in some fashion.

For instance, when Barack Obama says that Republicans are going to make an issue of his “funny middle name” that is code to goad us into doing just that. He needs this to happen in an effort to win back the support of Muslims that were lost after his campaign removed Muslim women with head scarves from the line of site of cameras pointed in his direction.

So rather than highlight the fact that Barack Obama’s middle name is Hussein voters opposed to his policies should simply note that the Obama campaign is the one distancing themselves from Muslims to the point of discrimination.

On Barack Obama’s Skin Color and Racism

Barack Obama has the luxury of acting like he’s black nearly all of the time while using the specter of his white grandmother as a reminder that he is white to those whites that Barack Obama has essentially spit on for his whole political career. He’s white when he needs to be and black nearly all of the time. This itself is so utterly racist and insulting I don’t know where to begin.

It wasn’t white Republican’s that attacked Barack Obama on his skin color, it was Democrats in support of Hillary Clinton. In typical Democrat fashion however Barack Obama is projecting the racism of white Democrats on the Republican party and all other supporters of John McCain.

But when we look at the latest Gallup poll cited above we can see that the unanimous support of Barack Obama by the blacks is an indication that the main thing relevant to today’s black voter is skin color. Yet Barack Obama has the support of a very large number of white people.

Compound these facts with the more alarming fact of Barack Obama’s racist church and ex-pastor and it is plain as day. Barack Obama sat there for decades while “the white man” was excoriated from the pulpit of his church. Barack Obama brought his family to the mix, broke bread with his very own racist pastor and happily introduced his children to the flock of Reverend Jeremiah Wright. This is no different than the old days of racism except those days for Barack Obama weren’t so old and the subject of racial discrimination was white.

If I was going to look at this objectively and see who is in fact acting in a racist fashion I would come to a few conclusions; none of which support Barack Obama’s rhetoric.

  1. Barack Obama was willing to sit in a church and be party to anti-Semitic, anti-American and anti-White discrimination. Before he launches any charges of racism he needs to look himself in the mirror.
  2. Democrats for Clinton attacked Obama on the basis of racist scare tactics, not Republicans. They did it for votes much like Barack Obama is doing now.
  3. The polls indicate that it is black voters and not white ones that are acting based on race. The fact that Barack Obama can sit up there in front of the world and imply that Republicans are racist is an insult to all whites and others who support him despite his color. The same can not be said for the African American community that is trending toward Obama on the race issue alone.

With respect to the unanimous support of Barack Obama among black voters I get it. They are identifying with the chance that Barack Obama may be the first person of African American heritage to be elected as the President of the United States. But this is a crock. There was no such glorification of others who have been elected or appointed to prominent positions. Clarence Thomas, Condoleeza Rice, Colin Powell to name the most prominent ones that come to mind. Nearly all were criticized vilified because of their ideology or who appointed them. Theirs was not a triumph against past racism, theirs was a considered a capitulation.

The hapless Republican party should be embarrassed if they let Barack Obama pigeon hole them into the mold of racism that Barack Obama himself is steeped in by association. This is about policy, character, experience and leadership; all qualities that Barack Obama has a deficit in. If they can’t capitalize on that then we may as well pack it in today.
