Picture of the Day – Iraqi Mass Graves, Women and Children

UPDATE II: Mr. Borzou Daragahi, the LA Times Baghdad Bureau Chief kindly responded to my e-mail and explained that he believes that the Times web site probably has a distinct area for interactive graphics and the URL’s work off of that location by default. (I am a software engineer in another life so I know this to be a common occurrence due to the hard coding of elements that should be dynamically configurable). It is an unfortunate occurrence but is not intentional as I noted in my original article.

The Real Iraq Under Saddam Hussein

You see the anti-war wonks at the NY Times never seem to find time to research heroic stories about soldiers who put their lives on the line protecting the innocent who were brutally suppressed under their former dictator Saddam Hussein.
