Oh, the irony!

dunce2.jpgEvery day, my kids bring home at least two pieces of paper reminding them not to waste natural resources. Multiply this by the populations of their schools, and you’re looking about 1,000 pieces of paper sent home per day, reminding us not to waste paper. It doesn’t seem to have occurred to the school that parents already know this message and that these papers warning against waste only make the journey home to go into the ever present blue recycling bin. As for the kids, the best way to teach not to waste resources might be to stop wasting resources.
