Obama’s Record Exposed: The Lie Behind His “I Support Gun Rights” Rhetoric

Fellow Newsbusters contributing writer and Houston Chronicle columnist Kathleen McKinley put together an impressive breakdown of Barack Obama’s legislative record concerning his votes on the second amendment. In doing so she exposes the lies behind Barack Obama’s self proclaimed support for second amendment rights now that his campaign has moved beyond the politics of change and into the “I’ll say anything to get elected” stage of his campaign.
Here’s a sample of what I consider to be the most egregious of his record with some of my comments in bold:
FACT: Barack Obama voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry. (TT- a Mayor Daley trick used against the tobacco industry)
FACT: Barack Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting. (TT- End run on rights, approve the gun, ban the ammo)
FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition. (TT- More taxes and less affordability, a twofer)
FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership. (TT- This is called Obama’s so called support of second amendment rights)
FACT: Barack Obama voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people who use firearms in self-defense. (TT – The true legitimate use of guns comes under assault courtesy BHO)
FACT: Barack Obama was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and “research.” (TT – Support with a wink and a nod)
FACT: Barack Obama voted not to notify gun owners when the state of Illinois did records searches on them. (TT – Anyone seen Red Dawn?)
FACT: Barack Obama supports repeal of the Tiahrt Amendment, which prohibits information on gun traces collected by the BATFE from being used in reckless lawsuits against firearm dealers and manufacturers. (TT another attack on the manufacturers instead of concentrating on criminals)
FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on inexpensive handguns. (TT – Keep them out of reach of hard working law abiding citizens that want to protect their families, put them in the hands of money making drug dealers and their crime networks, nice plan.)
In the minds of liberals it is OK to lie or turn the other cheek in order to further the cost. In my mind however the lie is an indication that the person can’t be trusted as far as you can spit. That is Barack Obama, gun grabber, infanticide supporter, Democrat Party hack.

Well I am late finding this site. Tried hard to warn people on line about Obama. All I can do is pray he “mellows” OR SOMETHING.
That something being one of these suits proves he is not qualified and falsly certified himself.
What is more scarry is all these judges who think the regular citizen has no standing to come into court to challenege Obama’s citizenship. Obama’s one slick cookie, ’cause he knows all the laws are stacked on the side of the person refusing to come forth. And Kenya has blocked access to records (I think I read, belatedly), that would verify his birth in Kenya, which would be a substantial piece of documentation, as the courts are accusing the petitioners of rumor. Obama’s little Marxist buddy, is remaing loyal for the backing and funds brokered by Obama for Islamic interests. Odinga has done his pay back; now:
Wonder what kind of further favors Odinga is expecting?
Notice the Obama vote was heavily in the welfare cities, everyone selling their soul for a handout. Well when all the farmers get fed up, Rome will fall. The vote in this campaign should tell us where the God fearing Constitutional upholding people need to retreat to, in my thinking.
