Webloggin » No Apology Necessary, So Stop It Already

I’ve been quite disturbed over the recent events that have caused the Pope, who quoted a Byzantine Emperor, to apologize for his insinuation that Islam is a message of violence and not of peace. The fact is, he was right, and we all know it. He need not apologize for stating a fact. The outbreak of violence among the Muslim communities against Christians is just more evidence that they are anything but the Religion of Peace as they claim to be. In truth, they are the opposite.

I beg and plea with the both our political and religious leaders; stick to your guns. When did everyone get soft? I find this unbelievable. Soft is going to sink us.

Some of you may say that comments like this are offensive because you believe that most Muslims are peaceful. Unfortunately, I do not subscribe to this belief; I think the opposite is true. I believe that there are a few peaceful Muslims but the majority are not. That leaves a very large segment of society that potentially can turn radical if I am right. If they were peaceful they would be speaking out against Islamic Terrorists and at the very least demanding that radicals stop hijacking their religion. Instead we hear nothing but crickets when we put our ears toward the Muslim community to hear them denounce these terrorist groups . However, Muslims come out in droves to denounce America and anything considered a part of Western culture.

Does this look like a few to you? Does it look peaceful? This is more than a few. Our leaders have got to stop placating the Muslims and start getting tough. They need to demand that the Religion of Peace apologize to the world for allowing anti-western, anti-Jewish, and anti-Christian sentiment in every part of their society including teaching radical ideology to children in their schools and Madrasas. This should be the apology we are all looking for; not one from the Pope or anyone else who speaks out against Islam.
