License for the Ridiculous - Lefties Gone Wild in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

I find it totally appalling that in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts the lefties are given a license for the ridiculous. Today in the Commonwealth it will be voted upon and decided upon - should spanking be banned and violators prosecuted.

The ridiculous left says spanking does not work for several reasons:

* it doesn’t teach children self control or what to do instead,
* it becomes less effective over time,
* it has long-term, harmful side effects.

The sole reason I am who I am today and where I am today is because my parents spanked me when I deserved it -period. My parents never abused their G-d given right to discipline me and if that meant a spanking then so be it. I never felt neglected and or abused and I sure knew where I must tow the line or suffer the consequence. Spanking when I was growing up was considered tuff love but necessary to raise a well rounded individual who knows right from wrong and obeys authority.

I am the responsible person I am today - a good citizen, law abiding, respectful of my elders, and contributing to the well being of others and society - because my parents understood how to discipline - when to spank and when to talk it out.

Past generations of parents raising children did not use a reward system set up to bribe a child to behave. A child new by their parents example and the way the parents made it clear what was acceptable and what was not - how to behave or not behave - parents took the time to teach their children these things.

Parents considered teaching their children when to speak, when to be quiet, and what was acceptable and respectable and what was not an honor and would oversee their child to ensure success. We learned how to behave by the time we were three, therefore, by the time we entered school our idea of who the adult is and who the child is was not skewed and or blurred as it is today.

Spanking given with fairness, love and care is an effective discipline technique. The decision as to the usefulness of spanking is best made by a child’s parents. Past generations, my parents generation prove this point wonderfully - just take a long hard look at the spankless generation of today.

When schools use a curriculum that is completely void of G-d’s Word, how can we possibly expect students to be educated, disciplined and or well behaved? How can we expect our children to be blessed - to be successful when they are not properly taught and or disciplined?

When prayer was removed from our public schools in the early 1960’s by the Supreme Court and endorsed by the then President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, the changes that came after proved devastating. Our whole societal infrastructure was drastically changed and far removed from the morals and standard of discipline parents instituted for the well-being of their children. A G-dless curriculum will produce a G-dless people. What do we have today? A defiantly G-dless nation.

Between removing G-d from our schools and now the far left hoping to set a precedent by banning spanking in Commonwealth of Massachusetts making it illegal, what is to come next? Who will be raising our children? The government according to our Constitution and our Bill of Rights has no right to interfere in child rearing in this manner.

Imagine if you will your child reporting you to the police if you spank them and or raise your voice to them? You would not only be charged with child abuse, but verbal abuse. The left would love to see their minority rule and the children become empowered all the while demoting the role of the parent to a token of agitation.

Today the Commonwealth may very well set the course of change in this nation as was done in the early 1960’s when prayer was removed from all public schools. This course of change could begin today - parental rights are being undermined and abolished all around the country as I write this article. Just take a long hard look around you again, what do you see?

The Bible is clear on this issue, “spare the rod and spoil the child.” Proverbs 13-24 KJV

Parents today have so much to learn and so much to lose.
