LA Times Withholds Video of Obama Toasting Former PLO Operative at Jew Bashing Dinner

John Stevenson at Newsbusters and Stop the ACLU reports on a video of Barack Obama toasting his friend Rashid Khalidi at a well known Jew bashing dinner. A reporter from the LA Times acknowledged that he has footage of the event but is refusing to release it to the public; one can only assume to protect the interests of Barack Obama.
Let me repeat, a “journalist” with the LA Times is refusing to release video of Barack Obama at a Jew basing event.
Rashid Khalidi is a PLO operative and just happens to be a friend of William Ayers. Obama denied associating himself with the man when confronted at a Jewish Rally. A Lie.
Gateway Pundit scooped the story:
LA Times writer Peter Wallsten wrote about Barack Obama’s close association with former Palestinian operative Rashid Khalidi back in April.
Wallsten discussed a dinner held back in 2003 in honor of Khalidi, a critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights.
Barack Obama has denied his close association with Khalidi, too.
According to Wallsten the evening not surprisingly turned into a classic Jew-bash:
“During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, “then you will never see a day of peace.”
One speaker likened “Zionist settlers on the West Bank” to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been “blinded by ideology.”
Barack Obama also praised the former PLO operative during the event.
And, Obama confessed that his family often shared dinner with the Khalidis:His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases… It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”
…The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.
When Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit caught up with the LA Times they admitted having the tape.
I asked him if he was planning on releasing this video of Obama toasting the radical Khalidi at this Jew-bash. He told me he was not releasing the video. He also would not comment on his source for the video. Wallston also said he did not know if Khalidi’s good friend Bill Ayers was at the event or not
The connections between Barack Obama and the Khalidis provide a subtext about Obama’s character that is being covered up by the media. This story had been noted earlier by Gateway Pundit, STACLU and National Review Online.
The efforts by the LA Times to keep it under wraps is an entirely new story, one that will becomes the subtext of attempts to elect Barack Obama with the help of a deceitful mainstream media.
Hoft has updated the story to give more background on Khalidi who is practically best friends with William Ayers. Khalidi actually threw a fundraiser for Barack Obama. And somehow, as if by magic, Obama found a way to funnel money into Khalidi’s ant-Israeli foundation.
Imagine that, yet another radical in Obama’s Rolodex that the mainstream media would just assume not write about.

I’m not sure if the scales have finally tipped to the point where it won’t make any difference whether or not the L.A. Times releases the video, whether or not there is more of a connection between Ayers and Obama and the rest of the corrupt and radical left wingers in the Chicago area. I think that the scale has been tipped so that the America blamers/haters outnumber American patriots, the “entitled” outnumber the ones providing the money for the “entitled”, the ones inside the cart outnumber the ones pulling it. They’ll just keep voting for the workers to keep working, the taxpayers to keep paying taxes, the law makers in judge’s robes to keep creating law from the bench, and the left wing to keep spending other people’s money. We can look in the mirror if we want to see who was to blame. We worried too much about hurting feelings and political correctness to the point where places like Massachusetts, California, and a few other states will never vote Republican again. We paid for socialists to recruit more socialists and called it ACORN, campuses to become left wing indoctrination centers and called it “investing in the future”, public television and radio to become arms of the Democratic party, and an entire race of Americans to become so dependent and beholden to the Democratic party that they can’t or won’t vote for a Republican. We allowed the MSM to deteriorate to the abomination it is today, another wing of the Democratic party who sifts, filters, and censors news to keep the lemmings lined up in a row and to create a false reality about everything and set the premises for all political arguments. Its not surprising the L. A. Times is holding on to the video and it shouldn’t surprise anyone if most of America doesn’t give a damn. The days are numbered for those that oppose the ones inside the cart. The Fairness Doctrine and the future statehood of Washington D.C. should put the finishing touches on what used to be an America based on merit, hard work, faith,who once believed in family values and the value of all human life. I look in the mirror and shake my head.
