Just a Coincidence or is China Trying to Poison Us?

The list of dangerous imports from China keeps growing. When is the United States along with its corporate sponsors going to wake up and decide that it is worth it to pay slightly more for products instead of trying to get that deal that comes from one of the biggest human rights violators ever? They don’t care about their own people why would any clear thinking person think that they would give a crap about ours?
The latest, which I heard this morning on Laura Ingraham’s show, is the recall on Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway toys. The cause for concern - lead poisoning. The Chinese are using lead based paints to paint our children’s toys.
Remember the dog food recall? That recall was imposed due to tainted wheat gluten from China.
How about the recent shrimp and fish scandal? The shrimp and most fish that we are importing from China is being raised in sewage water for our consumption. Joseph Farah reported on this stating:
WASHINGTON – China, the leading exporter of seafood to the U.S., is raising most of its fish products in water contaminated with raw sewage and compensating by using dangerous drugs and chemicals, many of which are banned by the Food and Drug Administration.
This isn’t all of it though, I’m thinking that this is just the tip of the iceberg. World Net Daily reported this:
Children’s metal jewelry was found to contain high levels of lead. About 103,000 multicolored necklaces, bracelets, earrings and charms imported by Tween Brands Inc. of New Albany, Ohio, were affected. Some of the jewelry have the words “High School Musical” printed on them or include pictures of the popular movie. Others have frogs, hearts, stars, dogs with dog bones, flowers, and monkeys that hang from silver, black or brown chains or cords. The jewelry was sold at Limited Too and Justice retail stores nationwide.
Toy drums coated with red paint were found to contain excessive levels of lead. About 4,500 of the Eli’s Small Drums and Liberty’s Large Drums were recalled. They were sold in gift and collectible stores nationwide and were imported by Boyds Collection Ltd in Pennsylvania.
This infuriates me. I’m calling for a full boycott of Chinese products. If I see “Made in China” or “Imported from China” I am not buying it. I urge my fellow citizens to do the same.

China and food products - I can’t understand why everyone isn’t writing to Congress and to food companies about Chinese food additives. Even products like your vitamins may say ‘made in the U.S.’ but the vitamin C and B etc may come from China. Many products that we put in our mouths have some ingredient from China, but the label still says made in US. This is a travesty. I don’t want to swallow a vitamin or a fish oil pill. WE NEED TO KNOW and have the right to know where all ingredients in our foods come from!!

Tell me about it. China is a major problem that needs to be addressed. It goes beyond food additives, lead in toy paint, seafood raised in sewage and then hopped up with antibiotics, theft of intellectual property, pirating of music, software and DVD’s, the list goes on and on and on.
Congress needs to act in the interests of American safety.
