John F. Kennedy & Barack Obama?

Boy, the left really has to stretch hard when it comes time to create faux heroes. The latest tale of imaginary equivalency will be aired on the Biography channel. It is simply called “John F. Kennedy & Barack Obama”.

Here is the synopsis from the biography channel website:

“First, how did one man inspire a nation and motivate Americans to work harder and give something back to their government? John F. Kennedy will long be remembered for challenging the American people–to put a man on the moon, put aside racial prejudices, join a volunteer corps to help undeveloped countries. Includes interviews with political satirist Mort Sahl and Cliff Robertson, who played JFK on film. Then, when he called himself “a skinny kid with a funny name” at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, his political star was already on the rise. By the time he decimated the competition in 2004 race for the Illinois Senate, he was the bona fide golden child of a Democratic party desperately in need of a winner.”

I’m thinking stretch. First, perhaps The Biography Channel should wait on this crockumentary until Junior Senator Obama actually has some accomplishments to rally around. Taking a news crew to Africa and speaking at the Democratic National Convention are not accomplishments; they are bumper stickers.

Nonetheless, the Democrats are working hard to shape the image of a person who must tread carefully by not creating a record in the Senate before they are ready to lift him off his pedestal for national service as a Presidential contender.

This will likely be the first of many such attempts to create a series of urban legends for the left to glom on to.

One Response to “John F. Kennedy & Barack Obama?”

  1. [...] As hypocrisy goes I doubt we will hear much about this from the mainstream media as they work overtime to create the legend before he has really accomplished anything. Over here however we will be less forgiving. We will hold him up to the same standard that the MSM holds conservatives on a daily basis. Good luck Barack Hussein Obama; we will be watching for your candidacy announcement. [...]
