Let me begin this little rant by saying I am a Christian who supports Israel 100%. Having cleared that up, the radical Left wing Democratic Jews are NUTS and their decision to un-invite Gov. Sarah Palin from the protest of Iran at the United Nations proves they are putting American politics before Israel’s safety and the safety of America.

These Democrats/Jews have slapped in the face the ONLY candidates truly behind Israel — the only candidates that believe Israel has the right to protect herself and the right to have others help in her defense. Gov. Sarah Palin, soon to be Vice President Sarah Palin loves Israel. Sarah Palin, the epitome of American exceptionalism:

The word is that the organizers of the Rally faced some pretty hard pressure from the Obama Camp. The DNC made some crystal clear phone calls to the event organizers saying that they are taking names and will kick ass on this one. If Obama wins, there will be retribution for anyone (or organization) that does not tow the line and get Palin thrown off the invite list. The McCain/Palin is polling very well in the Jewish community, and the DNC is petrified of the imagery of Sarah Barracuda hurling fireballs at the Persian maniac. That image is absolute red meat for the lovers of America and Israel and attract new voters. (YID With LID)

Sen. John McCain was tortured for five years and Jewish Democrats cannot stand up to some threatening phone calls from Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign!

The McCain camp has issued a statement in the candidate’s name:

Throughout my political career, I have sought to rise above partisanship on critical national issues. Nowhere is this more true than on important matters of national security. Earlier this year, Senator Clinton, Senator Obama and I issued a joint statement on the genocide in Darfur and pledged to support efforts to bring it to an end. Earlier this month, Senator Obama and I put the campaign aside to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our country and talk about the importance of national service.Next Monday, the day before Iranian President Ahmadinejad is to speak before the United Nations General Assembly, several organizations will sponsor an event to draw attention to the importance of halting Iran’s efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. Governor Palin was pleased to accept an invitation to address this rally and show her resolve on this grave national security issue, regrettably that invitation has since been withdrawn under pressure from Democratic partisans. We stand shoulder to shoulder with Republicans, Democrats and independents alike to oppose Ahmadinejad’s goal of a nuclear armed Iran. Senator Obama’s campaign had the opportunity to join us. The National Jewish Democratic Council defended Clinton’s decision not to attend and called for Palin to be disinvited so as to preserve the nonpartisan nature of the effort to halt Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

On Thursday afternoon, the Conference of Presidents held a conference call for organizers of the rally at which the decision was made to limit participation in the rally to unelected officials.

Organizers put out a statement on Thursday afternoon saying, “In order to keep the focus on Iranian threats and to ensure that this critical message not be obscured, the organizers of the rally have decided not to have any American political personalities appear.” JTA

There is much to be learned from this dis-invite of Gov. Sarah Palin, and Rudi Stettner puts it in a nutshell:

Common decency restricts “disinvitations” to those who have committed some serious offense that was not known or taken into account at the time the invitation was issued. Sarah Palin does not fit into this narrow category.There is a basic level of courtesy owed to a guest. Publicly showing disrespect to an invited guest is a serious offense against Jewish law. Sarah Palin was shown great disrespect for no legitimate reason. The embarrassment this causes me as a Jew goes beyond my support for McCain and Palin.

My only consolation in this entire sorry episode is that it reduces the respect accorded organisations that have long been unworthy of any respect. There are Jews in public life in New York who put truth and justice ahead of political expediency. I hope such people will step up to the plate and speak for the disenfranchised majority (continue reading)

What Sen. Hillary Clinton and the National Jewish Democrat Council have done is MAKE this even more political. Dr. Phyllis Chesler reports:

A FURTHER NEWSFLASH: The plot thickens but there is a bottom line; there always is. Obama is the one who decided not to send anyone of rank to stand with the Jews who are opposing Amadinejad’s genocidal and nuclear policies. The Jews in charge did not lean on Obama to come himself, (which would have made sense) but instead, no doubt under some unimaginably heavy pressure, dis-invited Palin. What? Allow Palin to take on the Iranian Monster on prime-time TV and win even more votes? New York Jewish votes? Women’s votes? Anything but that.

To cover themselves, the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations now claim to have dis-invited all politicians; too “partisan,” too distracting from the matter at hand. [snip]

NEWSFLASH: The Jewish Telegraphic Agency has just confirmed that Governor Sarah Palin–a strong supporter of Israel–has been disinvited from the rally against President Ahmadinejad. I suggest that my readers call the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations to protest this short-sighted and outrageous decision. Their number is 212-318-6111. [sni]

According to spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt, “Governor Palin believes that the danger of a nuclear Iran is greater than party or politics. She hopes that all parties can rally together in opposition to this grave threat.”According to Israel Today, Christians have demanded that the UN indict Ahmadinejad over threats to Israel. A petition signed by 55,000 Christians from 128 nations, demanding the arrest and indictment of the Iranian President, will be delivered to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon this week, reported The Jerusalem Post. Now on to the partisan rancor that is insidiously infecting the campaign to spotlight Islamic extremism; i.e. the upcoming visit of Iranian President Ahmadinejad. The fact that Sen. Clinton has canceled her appearance at the rally to be held Monday in New York, speaks volumes about the Senator’s ostensible commitment to raising a voice against the kind of hatred that can lead to worldwide Jihadist domination. Not to mention, but she also fails her constituency in New York, many of whom are organizers and participants at this rally.The truth is, it is the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations that needs to be taken to task for acquiescing to the pressure of the National Jewish Democratic Council, whose objectives are quite different from those sponsoring and attending this rally.

The writing is on the walls, if we only choose to read it. The NJDC’s objectives are not to educate the public about the urgency of Iran’s nuclear capabilities and how it effects the free world or it’s very real plan to annihilate Israel, or its continued subjugation of women, homosexuals and political dissidents, but rather, they are focused on defeating John McCain at the expense of their own interests.

Poor, stupid Jews. Don’t you folks realize that the only person laughing up his sleeve at all this is the “good” president of Iran himself. Aren’t you cognizant of the fact that your feckless attempts to create discord among those who are united in the fight against all that Ahmadinejad stands for will only come back to bite you in the face, or worse. Haven’t you considered the fact that if G-d forbid, Ahmadinejad conquers Israel and his far reaching tentacles also serve as driving force within the USA and the western world, that you liberal Jews will not escape his wrath.

It’s a horrible shame that the participants at this rally will not be able to hear Gov Sarah Palin’s remarks. It is a shame that this courageous woman who is committed to standing strong against Jihadist domination has been disinvited by those who will need her support. Well, I guess it’s not the first time that Jews have cut their nose despite their face.

Praise and accolades go out to Dr. Chesler for conveying the tragic and heartbreaking story of Soraya M. Perhaps this article should be e-mailed to the NJDC, to Sen. Clinton and the other Jewish functionaries at the Democratic party.

Dr. Chesler is indeed, a lonely voice in the wilderness. Her commitment and tenacity in regards to speaking and writing about gender apartheid, honor killings, forced marriages, stonings, and beatings of women around the globe is most admirable considering such “feminists” like Sen. Clinton and others of her ilk can’t even manage to summon up a modicum of courage to do so. Rather, they choose to assume the position of “armchair activists”, sitting back and leveling vitriolic denouncements of Dr. Chesler’s work and her political positions. Thank G-d, Dr. Chesler is not dissuaded by the sheer hypocrisy of her critics and detractors.
