Iran Takes Another Step Forward

nuclearCentrifuge.jpgToday Iran has begun the “industrial stage” of nuclear fuel production, according to Gholamreza Aghazadeh, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization. This is another slap in the West’s face, the second in less than a week if you count the 15 British sailors and marines who surrendered in a pitiful display of groveling to their captors.

It is believed that Iran has set up almost 1,000 uranium enrichment centrifuges at Natanz, has said it plans to install 3,000 more. As to exactly when Iran could have a nuclear bomb, experts don’t agree. There is speculation that anywhere from one to five years is all Iran needs.

Scott Sullivan in Persian Journal writes ” Iran is planning to redraw the map of the Middle East and shift the regional balance of power in its favor through five ethnic cleansing campaigns — Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel and Saudi Arabia … Iran’s plans are copied from Hitler’s plans for Europe in WW II.”

Iran’s first massive ethnic cleansing campaign has already begun in Iraq’s northern city of Kirkuk. Backed by Iran, this week Iraqi President Jalal Talabani – who is Kurdish and is Iran’s close ally — initiated a “voluntary” campaign of ethnic cleansing of Arabs in Kirkuk. By pushing the Arabs from Kirkuk, Iran and Talabani want to assure that ethnic Kurds would become Kirkuk’s majority population in advance of November 15 referendum that would bring Kirkuk under Iranian and Kurdish control.

Once Iran secures Kirkuk, Iran will then push Iraq’s Arabs out of Baghdad. Iran will do so because it wants Baghdad to be the capital city of a “New Iraq.” Iran and its Kurdish allies will dominate the New Iraq. Under Iran’s partition plan, the Kurds will take Kirkuk and northern Iraq, while Iran will take Basra and southern Iraq. [snip]

Meanwhile, Iran will use Hezbollah to push the Arabs and Christians out of Lebanon. Iran has already has considerable success in Lebanon in this regard.

Once Iran and Hezbollah secure Lebanon, Iran will turn Hezbollah and Hamas directly against Israel.

Finally, after disintegrating Israel and wiping it from the map, along with Iraq, Iran will take Saudi Arabia. Iran will attack Saudi Arabia, push out the Arabs, and create a new pro-Iran regime. Saudi Arabia now fears Iranian intentions and is preparing to confront Iranian aggression. (source)

Very interesting concept and probably a lot of truth in Mr. Sullivan’s article, but he had to go and ruin it all by saying, “supported by the US”. I know Washington has lost it’s mind lately when it comes to standing strong against Iran, but supporting Iran’s ethnic cleansing and takeover of the region, please.

But have no fear, Iran assures the West that they are indeed ready to negotiate and calm our worries about their nuclear program. Excuse me, but what is there to negotiate now?

“We are ready to negotiate and reach an agreement with Western countries in order to remove their worries about nuclear Iran without putting an end to our scientific development,” Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, said on Monday.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the U.N.’s nuclear watchdog, says it has gaps in its knowledge about Iran’s plans that must be filled before it can say they are peaceful.

The IAEA is pushing Tehran to agree to let it install cameras in the underground section of Natanz to monitor Iran’s work. Iran says such intrusive surveillance goes beyond its basic safeguards commitment to the IAEA. Talks continue. (Reuters)

There are still rumors that the United States will bomb Iran’s nuclear sites by summer 2007, but I would place bets on Israel before I would the US. Either way, Iran doesn’t seem worried.
