International Workers’ Day Illegal Immigration Day is behind us and protesters reappeared this year in the tradition of last year’s march to fight for the politically cleansed euphemism called “immigration reform”; code words for illegal immigrant rights, amnesty and a general disregard for those who waited in line to become citizens.
Although there was less participation this year (for the most part) we can make some observations about the sophistication bred into the event by organizers that were embarrassed and somewhat derailed by last years display of Mexican Flags and a general disdain for American laws and culture. This year was a little different however, the facade has been erected and now the immigrants march with American flags, fancily crafted signs all complete with the coordinated message of organizers who obviously have used an influx of cash to control the message.
The pictures pretty much tell the story so I will put up some examples with a little commentary to complete the post.
