Illegal Immigrant Advocates Lobbying for New Voter Base Before November Elections

Illegal ImmigrationThe LA Times is reporting that illegal immigrant advocates are planning to have 1 million new citizens and voters by November elections.

Flanked by immigrant mothers holding white Mother’s Day roses to symbolize their separation from families back home, Zavala said the campaign marked the immigrant movement’s next step to press for legislation that would provide more visas to reunify families and legalize the nation’s estimated 11.5 million undocumented migrants.

Some activists predicted that the campaign would produce a new surge of Latino citizens — and voters — even greater than the wave that followed the 1994 passage of California’s Proposition 187, which would have denied public benefits to illegal immigrants had it not been overturned by federal courts.

That’s fine; they can say what they want. I predict that the backlash against illegal immigrants has just begun.

The November elections will overwhelmingly produce outraged citizens who are going to send a clear message to our non-leaders in Congress. Close the illegal paths of people, weapons and drugs through our borders and get your own house in shape before you even begin to think about an amnesty program that is simply designed to bring in low wage labor and more votes.

We will see what really happens but it is clear that we are in the mother of all fights which seems to pit the American people against the very people they elected to represent them.

It’s time to clean house.
