I Don’t “CAIR”

turntable.jpgRecently I wrote an article about the whole brouhaha down at the Miami port. Three men were detained after the driver, due to his alleged “language barrier” problem struck suspicion within the port authorities. The authorities had asked him a series of questions including whether or not he had any company inside his cab. Well, as it turned out he claimed no, the authorities searched and found two other men within the cab. They were then detained and questioned. I also wrote and pondered on how long it would take CAIR to get involved and cry that this incident occurred due to Islamophobia.

Well, that didn’t take long, true to CAIR form they are backing these guys and these men are now threatening to file a lawsuit due to being “unfairly targeted because of their ethnicity and creed.” [emphasis mine]

El Sayed, one of the men who was detained, charges that “We were treated like animals”.

According to Miami authorities:

A port security officer became suspicious when Amar Al Hadad could not produce proper paperwork in a routine inspection to enter the port at about 8 a.m., Goldberg said. He also indicated he was alone in the truck, though security officers found Hussain Al Hadad and El Sayed in the cab, she said.[emphasis mine]

Of course the three Dearborn, Michigan men claim:

“That was not the way it happened.”

“Me and him were sitting right there … I mean, I was in the passenger seat,” Hussain Al-Hadad said. “I must be invisible.”

Yes, I am going to believe these men over port authorities, who I am sure are aware of the chance that these people will cry “Islamophobia” and threaten to sue.

It is also funny that his “language barrier” problem doesn’t get in the way of making the accusations that they were treated badly or that they are thinking of suing. Save it - I’m not interested. Nor do I believe them. If he had enough knowledge of the English language to take and pass the driver’s exam to obtain his CDL, enough knowledge to articulate cries of being targeted due to “ethnicity and creed” than it stands to reason he should have had enough knowledge of the English language to understand what port security was asking him.

They can claim what ever they want, I am making my own claim. One that has already been made. I claim that these men were were trying to see how secure our ports are going in from the land side.

Truthfully, I think the city of Miami should sue these guys. They should sue them for wasting taxpayer money due to their attempt to slide through security and perhaps slander because CAIR, along with these individuals, is accusing port security personnel of Islamophobia (instead of characterizing the port security for doing their job, which is exactly what they were doing). So if CAIR along with these twits files suit, I say Miami and the port security personnel who are involved should counter sue them - or let’s not wait; I say go for it. Are there any hungry lawyers out there who are willing to take this case?

It is high time we Americans turn the tables.
