Hypocrisy Alert – Conyers Demands Investigation Over Leaked Aunt Immigration Status

Exit question: Is Anyone Going to Investigate If Barack Obama’s Illegal Immigrant Aunt Received her Social Security Card from the U.S. Government?
It’s funny when Democrats get all worked up when something doesn’t go their way. But not really funny in a “ha ha” sort of way, this funny is of the curious sort.
Such is the case with Daily Kos diarist and U.S. Congressman John Conyers that is doing a bit of hand wringing over the news that Barack Obama’s close Aunt is an illegal immigrant, living on public aid, donating illegally to the Obama campaign and getting clearance everywhere with a fake social security card. No, he’s not concerned about those facts; he would rather we not know them at all.
Democratic U.S. Rep. John Conyers of Michigan fired off a letter asking Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to investigate whether someone leaked the information to the media in an effort to damage Obama.
“The AP reports that it ‘could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved,’ a very disturbing (suggestion) indeed,” read the letter from Conyers, who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
In the meantime let’s not concern ourselves with the political persecution of Joe the Plumber, private citizen. The guy that was investigated by the government after having the unfortunate status of being opposed to socialism and simply stating that fact when Josef Stalin, ooops, I mean Barack Obama asked him a question on the campaign trail. Hence the public trial of Joe the Plumber was launched illegally by Obama’s legions inside the Ohio state government and then leaked to the politburo; an Obama friendly media that didn’t really care about the government’s investigation into JP.
Ignored by Conyers is the fact that Barack Obama’s Aunt magically obtained a Social Security card. Which means that she is another one of the millions of Illegal Immigrants that are ripping off the American public for taxpayer money that Obama claims is scarce. Oh the irony. How many illegals are receiving benefits reserved for American citizens?
As for Obama, who supposedly dropped out of the now distant Aunt’s life 2 years ago after she attended his swearing in ceremony in 2005, he has returned the illegal campaign contributions. Very nice of him, just a few million more likely to to go.
Obama claims ignorance on the subject.
A campaign source said Obama provided Onyango no assistance in obtaining a tourist visa or housing, or in her immigration case.
Thanks WaPo. The question is not whether or not Obama helped her, but whether or not he knew about the immigration case. But once again we have to suspend reality and believe that Aunt Onyango never even mentioned the case to Barack Obama even though the case was heard and her status was rejected months before she attended his swearing in ceremony.
Sadly this is just another case of Barack Obama saying something that doesn’t pass the smell test; an occurrence that has happened repeatedly since he came on the scene. You would think that all of his skeletons would be out of the closet by now. The fact that they aren’t should be all you need to know when walking into that poll booth.

Man, woman, white, black, republican, democrat….no matter…I will NEVER, EVER, vote for a candidate that openly says Americans who cling to their religion are pitiful. Without our beliefs, which are our own (for now), we have nothing. How do you feel when you realize your parent is going to survive a heart attack? Or when a close one survives cancer? Or when you get in an accident and everyone is fine? Or even when you wake up able to walk and breath every day? You have a belief that you cling to, to each his own, but you have something that guides you and helps you through each difficult time. To Michelle Obama I say, “If your husband is elected President of this United States, for the FIRST time in MY LIFE, I will be ASHAMED of America.”

I agree. Democrats have been trying to marginalize those of faith for years. Now they want us to be embarrassed for being American, simply so they can feel better about themselves.
I am embarrassed however that the Democrats and the media have actually made it this far with that narrative.
