Hillary and Obama Turn Their Backs On The Troops By Pulling Out Of Fox Debate

On March 20th I wrote a Newsbusters article that surmised my opinion that a boycott of Fox News was essentially a boycott of our military men and women fighting the war against terror in Iraq and elsewhere. After publishing that article a soldier who was stationed in Iraq commented that when given the option, the troops watch Foxnews rather than CNN, CNBC, MSNBC and the BBC everytime. He also said that his Brit counterparts prefer Skynews over the BBC; an understandable observation considering the BBC proclivity to lean to the left. Skynews is the sister station to Fox news. Both stations hold the title as the number one news channel in their respective countries. Fox News currently leads the cable news market in the United States, earning higher points ratings than its chief competitors CNN and MSNBC combined. (src Wikipedia)
So when Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama announce that they are going to boycott a news channel that is both the most watched channel in the United States and the one broadcaster that is preferred by our fighting men and women overseas they send a message; “we don’t care about you”.
People like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton aren’t leaders; they are pack followers. Leaders lead all people, not just the ones whose message they agree with.
I recommend that the next time Obama and Clinton come knocking on the door of the military that our troops show them the same sort of respect and turn their backs on them. I know it won’t happen because our military is comprised of heroes and people who have respect; something neither Obama or Clinton know anything about.
