Ask Lyman Faris about the legality of the President Bush approved NSA surveillance program. Faris was apprehended when surveillance under the program exposed his plot to blow up the Brooklyn Bridge. The plot was foiled, but now the imprisoned Faris wants to be released. He claims his rights were violated by the “illegal” NSA surveillance and his incarceration is illegitimate.
Dammit, he needs to take his case to Ted Kennedy, Pat Leahy and the rest of the democrats. Maybe even republicans Chuck Hagel and Arlen Specter.
