Hamas Uses Another Childhood Icon……..”The Lion King”

Hamas is at it again. The same animated wing of Al-Aqsa Television, Hamas‘ tv network, that brought us Farfur, the mouse that looked a lot like Mickey, has produced a new cartoon, stealing the Lion King’s image. The point to this is to show the defeated Fatah in Palestine. Of course, the Lion King supposedly represents Hamas, while the rats represent the rocket throwing Fatah.
I find this mentality extremely sickening and although I do not want to take anything away from what we are all reminded of today, being 9/11, I feel it is important to point this out. It is another example of radical Islam and what they will do in an attempt to indoctrinate young children.
Whether we are dealing with al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah, or any of the other fringe terrorist groups, they are all the same. They all have a common goal, world Islamic domination and the Wests demise.
There are a few questions I have. Reuters reported that the cartoon aired for a few days and then it was pulled because some viewers complained. Could it be that Muslims in Gaza are deciding that this may not be the best way to raise their children? Are these people beginning to realize what nut jobs radical Islamists are? I’m not sure, but it really would be nice.
Another question I have is why do terrorists use our Western cartoon characters to further their warped agendas? I would think that they could teach their children to hate without using the West’s childhood favorites. I find it all very strange.
When Hamas bowed to international pressure to take Farfur off the air, of course to do this they depicted an Israeli soldier killing Farfur, and now this cartoon character is a martyr, they made it a point to say:
……it planned to use other well-known fictional characters to further its Islamist agenda.
How sick is this? And do they lack that much imagination that they do not have the ability to come up with their own cartoon characters? Why use the Wests?
In any event, it is important to remember not only the victims of 9/11 but also what free people everywhere are up against. We are up against crazy individuals that not only blow themselves up, but use cartoon characters to indoctrinate small children to later blow themselves up.
Let us not forget that we must be vigilant in not only thwarting attacks but also in changing the hearts and minds of this generation of Muslims as well as future generations. It is a long road, but I think we can accomplish it if we stay the course.
