Global Warming Affects Urination

Rising global temperatures could lead to an increase in kidney stones, according to research presented at the 103rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA). Dehydration has been linked to stone disease, particularly in warmer climates, and global warming will exacerbate this effect. As a result, the prevalence of stone disease may increase, along with the costs of treating the condition.
Good Lord. If only someone could come out and say that global warming will make you impotent, I’m sure the target demographic will be all over it. We still can’t cure cancer or the common cold, but we have Viagra and Cialis. Now by threatening middle aged men with having to pass a marble through the tips of their penises, they’re really pulling out the big guns. So to speak.
Or, here’s another crazy idea: Don’t eat too many processed and high sodium foods, drink lots of water (really, we have enough – we’re all going to drown in epic flooding, remember?), and keep within the daily recommended doses of protein. Really. It’s that simple.
