Freedom of Religion: a Thing of the Past

I still hear some people on the far-left insisting that our Freedom of Religion isn’t under attack. If
your one of those people, pay attention.
A roller skating rink in New York is being threatened with legal action for playing Christian music. Let’s be very clear on this. This is a private business. No one was denied entry. This music wasn’t sprung on unsuspecting customers. No derogatory statements were made about other religions. The owners of this business simply named a segment of their business hours “Christian Music Skate Time” and used that time to play, shockingly, Christian music. All skaters were welcome during this time, but those who don’t want to listen to Christian music can attend during normal skating hours. It’s not terribly complicated.
Regardless, Skate Time 209 is facing an investigation by New York’s Division of Human Rights for refusing, withholding, or denying access based on religious beliefs. But it gets worse. The fascists at the Division of Human Rights is considering charging a newspaper that published an advertisement for “Christian Music Skate Time” with aiding and abetting discrimination.
