Thanks for the H/T over at Maggie’s Notebook.
Fox News reporter Adam Housley gave the smack down to Democrat NYC Councilman Charles Barron and Hugo Chavez supporter who insinuated that Housley was only covering one side of the anti-Chavez protests in Venezuela. Housley, who has been covering the protests in person for three days took exception with Barron who admitted that he was an activist who didn’t have time to watch TV. Had Barron bothered to watch Fox news he would have seen Chavez’s troops tear gas the protesters who are upset over the shutdown of a popular TV station that regularly opposes the Venezuelan dictator. Chavez also called on his supporters to come down and confront the protesters in an effort to further silence and intimidate the students.
After going back and forth with Barron, Housley had had enough and told him he did not know what was going on down in Chavez’s part of the world; he then called Barron a son of a bitch. Wow. Quite a display. Fox news better not fire Adam Housley. This is exactly what we need. Call it as we see it. It is time to stop letting our politicians get away with their bullshit. Here is the video:
