This just occurred to me. The inclusion of this rhetoric on the election ballots seems to me to be a campaign message from the Democrats. This is nothing more than an underhanded attempt to get one last dig in at the Republican administration to change people’s vote at the last minute. Perhaps not illegal but something that should be possibly addressed going forward.

Still thinking about sitting out the election? Think again. All of the dire predictions about the true intentions of Democrats can be found on the Internet copies of your election ballots. I urge all of you to look them up and see the way the leftist throwbacks from the early 70’s have taken over the wording of many of the referendums on your local ballots.

Here is an example of what to expect from the Illinois Champaign County Clerk’s Office.

Advisory Referendum To Withdraw The Troops From Iraq
“Shall the voters of Cunningham Township call upon the United States government to commence an orderly and rapid withdraw of all U.S. military personnel including bases from Iraq while providing financial support for Iraqi security and reconstruction?”
Advisory Referendum To Impeach George W. Bush And Vice-President Richard Cheney
“Shall the voters of Cunningham Township ask our representative to the U. S. House of Representatives to support articles of impeachment to remove George W. Bush and Richard Cheney from office for misleading our nation to war with Iraq, for permitting the illegal use of torture, and for conducting domestic spying on U. S. citizens in violation of the 4th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act?”
Have The Governor Of The State Of Illinois To Resist Any Mobilization Of Illinois National Guard Units For Service In Iraq
“Shall the Governor of the State of Illinois, to the extent of his authority, resist any further federal mobilization of Illinois National Guard Units for service in Iraq, on grounds that the ongoing Iraq war/occupation is illegal, immoral and harmful to the well being of the people of this state?”

Yes, know I am describing Illinois hell. But don’t be fooled. This spells out commonly held liberal Democrat intentions and motives in black and white.

Think this is limited? Well you would be wrong. Get a look at how the Cook County gun grabbers worded their ban on the sales and manufacture of assault weapons:

“For the health and safety of children and the entire community, shall the State of Illinois enact a comprehensive ban on the manufacture, sale, delivery and possession of military-style assault weapons and .50 caliber rifles?”

The wording is what I take exception to. Regardless of how you feel about the issue this type of wording should be prohibited. Substitute the following and imagine the outcry. “For the health and safety of children and the entire community, shall the State of Illinois enact a comprehensive ban on same sex marriage?”.

But this is what liberals do when they get their hands on power. Do you really want them in charge?

Think about this before you decide to sit out the election. These people are for real. They have been lying lower than you might realize. The true base of the Democrat Party is the Daily Kos type that writes these carefully worded referendums.
