Death To Those Who Leave Islam

There are many people in the United States and throughout the world that would have you believe that “Islamaphobia” is a completely undeserving fear of peace seeking Allah loving Muslims manifested out of the racist tendencies of intolerant non-believers. I, a person who tends to lean toward the side that would grant the right of Isamophobes to be phobic with just cause, personally think that the other crowd can jump off a large bridge preferably overlooking the Grand Canyon. In other words Islamophobia is not a product of racist non-believers but rather a manifestation of Islamlic law itself combined with the actions of radical adherents that are all too common for their existence to be written off as some fringe group. Radical Islam has been mainstreamed and people should rightfully be alarmed.
Another indicator of this belief is Pakistan’s Apostasy Bill of 2006. The Apostasy Bill is a bill that has been introduced to Pakistan’s National Assembly which states that persons leaving Islam for Christianity or another religion will be punished. Not just any punishment mind you. If you are a man the “offense” is punishable by death and if you are a woman the “offense” is punishable by life in prison. Minor children are forfeited to another family member.
Section 4 of the draft bill states:
…..testimony by two adults accusing someone of leaving the Muslim faith, or a confession by the accused, is all that is needed for conviction. However, in some courts throughout Pakistan testimony by non-Muslims is prohibited.[emphasis mine]
Can you imagine if you have a simple feud with two people. The two that you have just feuded with could accuse you of leaving Islam, bring this to an Islamic court; and undoubtedly the accused would be convicted. Even if it is not true. This whacked behavior exists in many parts of the Islamic world and is not something that sprang up yesterday; just look at National Geographic’s 2002 article on the thousands of women killed in “honor killings“. In most cases these violent deaths that are perpetrated in the name of “honor” are done at the whim of a male accuser; usually a relative. The result is that the family is shamed. No shame for beating a person to death with stones mind you. The shame is from a presumed act of infidelity, even the mere thought or a wayward stare may be enough.
These are the very things that drive people of free nations to look upon Muslims as a group of crazy and dangerous nut jobs. And why wouldn’t they? To a sane free person, you would have to be nuts in order to live like this.
I hear arguments saying that we are culturally different and that we need to “understand” this culture. Sorry, wrong, this is more than a cultural difference. I have a “cultural difference” with Buddhists. I look at Muslims as a group of psychotic people who value death more than life, who value oppression, who treat women as property, who would rather live in the depths of hell and further this hell by procreating and brain washing more people into thinking that this is the way to live.
What makes this an even more serious issue is that regardless of where Muslims raise their children, if the parents or family members have this radical train of thought, the children will become radical. We see this in Europe. Quite a few of the 9/11 hijackers were British born. You would think living in freedom would stop this insane way of thinking, but it does not.
These apostasy bills and other manifestations of “cultural differences” serve to fuel radicalism and if not stopped our children could very well grow up in a world where there is no freedom since Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.
In light of all this I propose dropping the word phobia for something more appropriate, Islamoreality.
