Daily Kos (i.e. Democrat Party Base) Comes To The Rescue of Ramsey Clark

It appears that justice is a multi-edged sword. Ramsey Clark, poster boy for the American left, was ejected from the court before the Hussein verdict was read. The judge called him a mockery to the Iraqi people before he ejected him from the court.
Saddam trial judge ejects Ramsey Clark, Sun 5 Nov 2006 5:25 AM ET
BAGHDAD, Nov 5 (Reuters) – The judge presiding over the trial of Saddam Hussein and seven others on charges of crimes against humanity ejected former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark from the court on Sunday for insulting the tribunal.
Clark, who heads an international team of lawyers involved in the defence, was ejected at the start of a hearing at which Saddam and two aides were convicted and sentenced to death.
The judge, Raouf Abdul Rahman, ejected Clark because he had sent a memo to Abdul Rahman including the accusation that the tribunal was making “a mockery of justice”.
The judge told him in Arabic: “No, you are the mockery … get him out, out.”
Abdul Rahman then shouted in English: “Out! Out!”
“You come from America and ridicule the Iraqi people,” he said.
Clark had earlier said the trial was politically influenced, and that if Saddam were sentenced to death, it would be “victors’ justice” – Reuters
Naturally, and as expected, the Democrat Party base over at the Daily Kos came to Clark’s rescue as they devoted part of the front page to Clark’s rants.
The comment section is a bit more comical as the true colors of the lib base rears its ugly head:
First let’s start with the obvious
Bush – Saddam (6+ / 0-)

Forget lethal injection, jury must decide on hanging Bush.

This is typical of the ass left.
From there we move to the standard rhetoric aka this will make Iraq worse, America is the same as the Saddam regime, Bush dictated the verdict, etc. Most of these morons are parroting the claims of Ramsey Clark which this particular article gives some credence to.
We now have a judicial (2+ / 0-) double standard when it comes to high crimes. We are allowed to do it; others are not.
Not the church. Not the state. Women will decide their fate.

that Hussein will be hung for crimes Bush has been working furiously these last couple of months to make legal.Hussien’s lawyer must suck.

I don’t think he sucks. (0 / 0) I think he was working within a farce of a judicial system where all the rules were dictated by Bush.
Not the church. Not the state. Women will decide their fate.

There is much more but one can only delve so deeply into leftist anti-American stupidity before they get too tiring even for a critical eye.
Never forget, this is the Democrat Party base as can be determined by the fact that John Kerry and John Conyers have personal diaries on the site so they can appeal directly to these anti-American moonbats.
