CNN Admits That Obama Lied About Ayers

This is a sort of mini-breakthrough. Noting that Obama worked for 7 years with Ayers on the Annenberg Challenge, that he launched his career at Ayers and Dohrn’s house and that he sat on a board with Ayers at the Woods Foundation. All facts contrary to what Obama said in a debate with Hillary Clinton.
Of course Anderson Cooper tries to make it sound like Obama just worked with Ayers to “improve schools” and “does not agree with this guy”. Talk about clueless.
Cooper simply doesn’t want to know the truth or is lying to keep the truth from you, Ayers was using the grant money to try and radicalize students and give the money to other groups that would train students to be activists.
Stanley Kurtz, a source for the CNN report stated it as follows in a more through report of the Ayers-Obama connection related to Annenberg:
Ayers is not only an activist, but a sort of father-figure to radical educators, authoring not only books of his own, but editing collections of like-minded authors, and putting together coalitions of educators, as he did at CAC. Hallett and Ayers may have co-chaired the Collaborative and together been ex-officio on the board, but this was largely Ayers’s show.
…
The Obama camp denies CAC’s radicalism by pointing to the fact that this foundation was funded by Nixon Ambassador and Reagan friend, Walter Annenberg. Moderates and Republicans often support Annenberg activities, it’s true. Yet the story of modern philanthropy is largely the story of moderate and conservative donors finding their funds “captured” by far more liberal, often radical, beneficiaries. CAC’s story is a classic of the genre. Ayers and Obama guided CAC money to community organizers, like ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) and the Developing Communities Project (Part of the Gamaliel Foundation network), groups self-consciously working in the radical tradition of Saul Alinsky. Walter Annenberg’s personal politics don’t change that one iota.
The fact that Ayers and other tenured radicals hold power at our universities is in no way negated by the presence of Republican appointees on university boards of trustees. Ayers’s radicalism is undeniable. He remains unapologetic for his bombings of the 1960s. Even now, he refuses to rule out violence as a resort. His education writings are deeply politicized and filled with exhortations to “resist” America’s racist and oppressive social system. In 2006 — along with his wife and fellow former-terrorist, Bernardine Dohrn, and Jeff Jones — Ayers released, Sing A Battle Song, a collection of intensely radical writings from the Weather Underground. Ayers makes it clear in that book that, while he is embarrassed by some of the Weather Underground’s rhetoric, he still adheres to the same ideas. Beyond its strictly historical interest, Ayers and his co-editors make a point of hoping that their old writings would be “of use to new generations of militant activists and organizers.” By directing CAC funds to groups like ACORN and the Developing Communities Project of the Gamaliel Foundation, Ayers was supporting just such militant activists and organizers.
CNN also furthered the lie that Obama was just 8 when the Weather Underground was committing crimes but we know that is not true as the group was still at work up into the 80’s.
Barack Obama was not eight, but a 24-year-old community organizer in Chicago at the time of the Weathermen’s last attacks, and 29 when many of the last remnants of the Underground in the offshoot May 19th Communist Organization were sentenced to prison in 1990. (Former Weatherman Elizabeth Ann Duke is still a fugitive and wanted by the FBI.)
BarackObama.com, the campaign’s official website, offers up a “fact check” that Obama was just eight years old when the Weathermen were active in 1969. The Obama campaign has tried to use the founding date of the Weathermen as a touchstone, claiming that the acts of the group were something that happened “40 years ago” when Obama was a child. Far closer to the truth is the December 6, 1990, sentencing date of Weathermen Susan Rosenberg and Linda Sue Evans, when the last of the Weathermen were sentenced for their role in a string of bombings in the mid-1980s, including bombs that detonated at the National War College, the Washington Navy Yard Computing Center, the Washington Navy Yard Officers’ Club, New York City’s Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, the Israeli Aircraft Industries Building, New York City’s South African Consulate, and the United States Capitol Building.
Even though CNN is eekng out small tidbits of truth on TV that counters their fact check we can see how reluctant they are to let you the American voter know all the facts and decide for yourself.

Are we having some kind of breakthrough? I can’t believe CNN discussed this topic even with their slant, it’s still a bit surprising.
My guess would be that this is going to be a situation similar to Rev. Wright. The media exacerbated the problem by ignoring it for so long. Now they hope to get it all out and out behind them for the last couple weeks before the election.
[...] http://www.webloggin.com/cnn-admits-that-obama-lied-about-ayers/ The facts about these connections are relevant to the present economic crises because they show that throughout Obama’s life his supporters, advisors and mentors have been communists or communist sympathizers” and their aim has been the overthrow of the US Government. Obama’s policies are aimed to cause that result by: 1. taxing private enterprise out of existence; 2. surrendering our military to our enemies; 3. preventing our country from drilling for our own oil that could make the US energy independent and financially solvent, and 4. expanding government spending and control over all aspects of our lives and deprive us of our freedoms of speech and our right to bear arms among others.
