Chuck Hagel Goes Bad on the Republican Party, AGAIN

What the hell is wrong with Chuck Hagel? And even more importantly, what the hell is wrong with Nebraska for keeping him in office?
Perhaps it’s John McCain’s just deserves, payback for all those years of being a “maverick”. But one person besides McCain that has been a perennial thorn in the side of republicans is Chuck Hagel. He seems to me to be the equivalent of Father Michael Phleger, the showboating unhinged liberal that runs amok and embarrasses the Catholic church every time he gets in front of a camera; Hagel is no better.
Here’s the latest Hagel nugget of dung as told on Face the Nation this weekend after he joined the other groupies on the Barack Obama mystery tour. Hagel felt compelled to come to Obama’s defense after John McCain spoke the truth and said “It seems to me that Obama would rather lose a war in order to win a political campaign.”
Here is Hagel’s shallow defense of BHO:
“I think John is treading on some very thin ground here when he impugns motives and when we start to get into ‘You’re less patriotic than me. I’m more patriotic,’ ” Hagel said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “I admire and respect John McCain very much. . . . John’s better than that.”
Shut the hell up. Congressmen like Senator Chuck Hagel must think they deserve some special sort of prize for leading the nation to the worst rated Congress in history when they should in fact have their smug butts booted right into retirement.
Yes Mr. Hagel, in case you haven’t noticed, Democrats, lead by the likes of Barack Obama, have been torpedoing the war effort since day 1; all for political purposes. They stuck a long knife in the backs of the troops just like you repeatedly do to the Republican party.
Perhaps Chuck Hagel is no different than Barack Obama and that is why he feels so compelled to repeatedly play the part of conservative antagonist. Good riddance.
