Mary Mitchell said"Sarah Palin makes me sick because although black Democrats have been responsible for giving white candidates the boost they needed to beat their Republican opponents in tight races, these voters are now being insulted by feminists who say they will cross over into the Mc Cain camp because of her."

Now, I'm glad she stated that they were black Democrats, instead of the incorrect vernacular of African Americans, but still how racist is that statement? She had to make it a point that they were white candidates that the blacks were voting for? Um, is she an idiot? The only people that have run for the presidency up to this point have been, oh what's that? White. Yeah. And, I didn't know that it was only the black voters who matter in elections.. I thought it was simply the amount of people that voted for either side. Why are we even making race an issue?
And, how are they being insulted? I'm confused. She's pissed because some random people said that blacks are going to vote for McCain because of Palin, instead of "who they should obviously vote for because he's of their same color" Obama, simply because she's a woman? Mitchell really does sound like an idiot.
Obviously she feels that race is an issue, and that we should vote for someone of our own race, unless of course there's no choice. My God. Tell me if I took the wrong message away from this. But this lady just pissed me off.

[...] Terry Trippany at the Chicago Sun-Times summarized the mentality nicely, even though she writes how this relates to the news media. But it applies overall. But there is another type of bias that is so mean spirited and over the top that you have to wonder if we aren’t observing a nervous breakdown on a mass scale. It seems that many in the media are becoming unglued over the concept of a McCain-Palin ticket. [...]
