One of the things that rankles conservatives so much about the nutroot class of liberals is that many of them think they are so much smarter than everyone else. The left has been doing the Marcotte style of attack for so long that they fail to comprehend why there is no room for them in mainstream politics; not even on the left side. Instead they look to blame the right.
