I saw this on Drudge this AM and read Camille Paglia’s harsh critique of the Obama advisers. So harsh, in fact, that for her they shouldn’t be part of the administration any more, if ever they should have in the first place.
Yes, free the president from his flacks, fixers and goons — his posse of [...]

Even the MSM has Noticed
Sales of rifles, pistols and ammo are surging in parts of the United States, as many gun owners fear President-elect Barack Obama’s administration may seek to tighten ownership of certain weapons.
“The day after the election, I had many more calls than usual from people looking for semi-automatic rifles,” said David Greenberg, [...]

Hubby was reading the latest from the Official Journal of the National Rifle Association and pointed out some very interesting articles. Apparently Hillary Clinton was right about Barack Obama … You can’t trust him with your guns.
Go to this link and read about Obama and his views on gun owners. Obama would be the [...]

I just finished watching a live demonstration of the contempt that Barack Hussein Obama and his apparatchiks have for the rest of us. This morning it was the man-god’s Bill Burton on TV lying through his teeth about Obama’s his lifelong (at least during his political life) opposition to the 2nd amendment.
First he said that [...]

In a surprisingly rational Supreme Court decision, the handgun ban in Washington D.C. has been ruled unconstitutional and the right to bear arms has correctly been interpreted by the Supremes. (Something that still has my head spinning considering their recent decisions; no death penalty for child rapists and terrorists gone wild in civilian courts.) I [...]

Just in time for July 4th, the Supreme Court confirmed that the Second Amendment says what it means and means what it says.
I personally am not now, nor have I ever been, a gun owner. I keep meaning to go the local firing range and take lessons (operating on the principle that, since I’m [...]

The Washington Times Reports:
In a 5-4 decision, the justices’ landmark ruling affirmed a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in March of last year that gutted much of the District’s stringent gun statutes. Justice Antonin G. Scalia wrote the court’s majority opinion.
“The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess [...]

The Supreme Court is reported to have decided this in 1939 in the Miller case and that is what lower courts have used to justify upholding gun bans. However, Miller is not settled law because the SCOTUS remanded it back to the lower court and the issue was not about an individual right.

I don’t drink. I don’t like the stuff, and have never forced myself to learn to enjoy it. However, I often find myself in a situation that requires me to buy wine, whether for a potluck or because it’s the perfect hostess gift. Over the years, I’ve developed a surprisingly effective technique, [...]

Here is a message from the NRA:
Anti-gun hysteria has reached a fever pitch in the Golden State. The California Assembly is considering a bill (Assembly Bill 2062) this session that, if passed, will have dire consequences for California’s law-abiding gun owners.
AB2062 is scheduled to be heard on Wednesday, May 7 in the [...]
