CAIR Outraged Over Quran Shooting, Cites Religious Intimidation

For all of you who were waiting for the Council on American-Islamic Relations to display some genuine outrage over recent acts of terrorist aggression you will have to wait a bit longer.
But you can see some outrage from the group over the posting of an internet video on My Space that shows a person shooting a Quran with a rifle and throwing it on the doorsteps of a mosque.
The video shows the man purchasing a Quran at a bookstore, taking it to a wooded area and shooting the book, then throwing it on the ground outside the door of the Chattanooga Islamic center.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations called it a possible civil rights violation. Legal Director Arsalan Iftikhar compared it to burning a cross.
“By throwing the bullet-riddled Quran at the mosque, we believe the perpetrators went beyond the limits of free speech by taking part in an overt act of religious intimidation,” Iftikhar said.
Ironically CAIR doesn’t seem to include the stoning of a 14 year old girl who distributed leaflets bordering on religion, the shooting of fans watching world cup soccer, the Iraqi’s shot for wearing shorts, the killing and death threats against cartoonists or the beheading of people in the name God in the list of things that qualify for religious intimidation.
Yeah, I know, I have seen their website and read the various literature that demonstrates “Muslim Condemnation” of violence in their name. But that just doesn’t go far enough. There is a culture of hate within the Muslim community that has been allowed to fester and grow without opposition. There isn’t nearly enough being done by the “leaders” to stop the violence in the name of Islam. Sorry, a website doesn’t do it. Actions speak louder than words.
Naturally the FBI has opened up a probe over the Quran desecration.
Funny, I don’t remember the FBI opening up a probe over the piss Christ exhibit that went on to win the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art’s “Awards in the Visual Arts” competition.
For the record, I think the video is asinine. Muslims however should be quick to realize that inaction on the part of their leadership against radical Islam will only strengthen the growing anger toward the one religion that truly is a genuine threat to the free world.

So let me get this straight. It’s religious intimidation when it’s a koran being desecrated, but smear elephant sh*t on a painting of the Virgin Mary and it’s art. (Taxpayer funded art.) Yeah. That makes sense. Welcome to liberal hell.
And can I also add, I do not think it’s an asinine video. I think it’s a righteous expression of free speech. I would do the same with a Nazi flag. And the Koran, my friends, is the Islamic version of Mein Kampf. Do not mistake it. I believe that if we do not recognize that Islam is the enemy of free people everywhere, then we don’t deserve the democracy we say we cherish. Would you support public demonstrations against a communist take-over? I would. How about a Nazi take-over? I see this video as a protest against a fascist ideology that would like to put your wife and daughters in sheets and brainwash your son to believe death is the ultimate in life. When did you become a Muslim sympathizer? There is no excuse for their irrational superiority complex and somebody needs to take them down a notch. I like that guy’s style. Frankly, I’d love to see whole cities of people rising up and burning the Koran! This is America, not Fallujah and I’d like to remain that way, thank you very much.
