Britain on “Critical” Terror Alert

Britain has upped its terror alert to “critical” after the failed two car bombs and an incident at the Glasgow International Airport in which a burning jeep crashed through the glass doors of a terminal.
Scotland Yard has arrested five men and women in conjunction with this. One of the suspects is under guard at a hospital due to burns from the flaming jeep. We know that two of the suspects were arrested in Cheshire and another was arrested in Liverpool. In addition “Kenny MacAskill, Scotland’s justice secretary, said the two Glasgow attackers were not “born and bred here.”"
A suspicious car was also found at the John Lennon Airport in Liverpool causing the airport to shut down over night. The police took the car for “forensic examination”. Police have not said what they found and the airport reopened at 4:40 a.m..
Security officials are saying that all the incidents are linked.
These incidents are reminiscent of the 1999 foiled plot at the Los Angeles International Airport and the British foiled plots last year. The 1999 incident was thwarted when alert customs agents stopped an Algerian born terrorist who was driving a vehicle laden with 124 pounds of explosives.
Last years British plot involved Dhiren Barot, “a 35-year-old British convert to Islam” who plotted to bomb “several U.S. financial targets and luxury London hotels using limousines packed with gas tanks, napalm and nails.” Barot was convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
The time is now for the United States to get tough. These ruthless individuals want nothing more than the Wests demise and it is imperative that they are defeated, our way of life depends upon that.
This weekend should be a stark reminder to all that we are in for the fight of our lives. I urge every American to call their Senators and insist on strict border enforcement. Flood the phone lines just as we did on the immigration bill. We the people need to ensure that the government is going to start enforcing our borders according to our existing laws. Enough pussy footing around, insist that they do the job that the government is supposed do, protect the country, not their own personal interests. This is no time for complacency.
